What do you guys do for fun?

hey guys im just a curious lad so i was wondering what you guys do for fun besides gaming
for me it has to be making memes/videos and watching anime

Gaming (mainly retro though), sleeping, being with my 4 cats, sometimes repairing broken stuff I find, etc.

Go to the beach and climb around the rocks and go sea fishing with my oldest son. Mountain biking too.
If the weather sucks we play board games, do Lego and then hit up the vidya games for a few hours.
If I'm alone I usually do some research or read a novel.
Tbh there aren't enough hours in the day these days!

I know its gaming, but I love gaming with my friends in party chat. Destiny, Borderlands, Monster Hunter, and many many other games we all play together. Its more than just gaming. Its a bonding experience for us.

My wife and I like to go on walks, biking, shopping, going out to movies, and grocery shopping.

When I am alone, I watch anime, cook, sketch and ink, and i actually enjoy general housework.

Sometimes my old church calls me back and I play drums for them in the worship team on sunday mornings.

I like to mod other peoples video game consoles, make Perler-bead creations, and puzzles. I love puzzles. Jigsaw, Sudoku, Portal, ect. I love thinking critically.

It has become hard to tell apart things I do for fun from things I do for escapism.

But I guess reading books, playing with dogs, going on holidays specially if there is a mountain and a river around mostly for contemplation, to a place with as little people as possible; and more rarely playing video games and watching some movie/anime, those I do often but I think most of the time not for fun really. Life.

Beyond gaming?

I like to read books on economics, tech, history and human biology. I'm also into writing and working towards completing my first book which hopefully will be published by the end of the year.

Outdoor activities include going to the gym, running my bike through my local parks, running and swimming at my local rec center.

I've recently taken an interest in some kind of martial arts and playing an instrument however I have yet to decide on either.

Naps...I also like to take naps and watch anime.

The other pig that we plan to slaughter is named Pineapple, because pineapples go good with ham.

I keep myself generally busy with sorting/colleting searching for indie visual kei music to buy and what not related to it.

I'm a romhacker who also likes modding nerf guns. I try to keep my hobbies seasonal so I can stay busy no matter what the temperature. Nerfing in the summer when I can run around and romhacking in the winter when I'm cooped up indoors.

When I'm not doing either of those I like just playing games.
