I'm a Firefox guy. Have to fight against that Chromium monopoly. I do have Brave installed though for the rare occurrence something won't work right in Firefox. I think it mostly has to do with my settings

I had not heard much of Brave. Now I wonder if Brave (with US HQ), or Avast (with Czech HQ) is the better alternative?

Brave automatically blocks intrusive ads and supports tor browsing in private tabs. It also allows you to anonymously tip your favorite sites using BAT (Basic Attention Token, a cryptotoken they can cash out later for fiat currency) I highly recommend it.
