I’ve been building some browser-based hardware diagnostics and recently finished a controller tool that visualizes stick accuracy and input timing directly in the browser.
It tracks circularity, drift patterns and polling rate jitter in real time, and exposes the raw HID data for inspection.
Standard tests use the Gamepad API, while polling measurements rely on WebHID (so Chromium-based browsers are required for that part).
If anyone here has high-end pads or custom controllers, I’d be interested to hear how the polling data compares with native tools.
