Hacking Question What are the required steps to upgrade SX OS EmuNand?

Both my sysnand and emunand FW is on 5.1.0

I've tried updating my emunand to 7.0.1 with ChoiDuJourNX (not exFat) and when it's done installing, I clicked reboot and I just get a black screen.

I just reinitialized my switch and I'm currently in the process of reinstalling emunand.

What am I doing wrong?

Technically it should work with 2.5.3 but I'd update to the latest version. It can't hurt.

should i enable AutoRCM in choidujourNX? and would it make a difference if i have autoRCM enabled via SX OS settings?

Depends. Are you updating OFW? Why do you want to keep your fuses?

im only updating my emunand fw.

also, after updating my emunand to 7.0.1, it finally rebooted to sysnand, which never happened before (until after i reinitialized)
but when i try to boot into emunand, it still gives me a black screen...

AutoRCM doesn't matter when using Choi to update emunand.

SX OS 2.5.3 supports 7.x emunand with lower sysnand version. 2.6 added support for 7.x sysnand.

EDIT: My bad, I got it backwards. OP should definitely update to SX OS 2.6.1.

yep, updating to 2.6.1 fixed it!! i can finally boot properly
