Gaming What are the odds of a 360 price drop at E3?

I finally have enough money to buy a 360, but im afraid that when i buy it a price drop will be announced at E3. So is it likely that there will be a price drop?

i think 270€ for premium(+2games) and 200€ for core is good enough hehe

the prices were 340€for premium here i think and 300€ for core

So hum.. in portugal I have..

Core: 197,99€
Premium(20GB HDD+Wired Controller): 269,99€
Elite(120GB HDD+Wireledd Controller+GTA4): 369,99€
Elite(Same shit, no game): 300€

I don't think $30 price drop will have much effect.

Pros go from $349.99 to $319.99, people will still recognize it as "over 300 bucks"
Arcades go from $279.99 to $249.99, OMG the same price as Wii!

I don't think people were choosing Wii over 360 because of the $30 price difference in the first place. Matching Wii's level wouldn't necessarily get people who were originally thinking a Wii to change their minds. If Arcade becomes CHEAPER than the Wii, then hell yeah.

To be really effective, Pros need to drop down to $200 range, be it $299.99 it sounds a lot cheaper than $319.99 even though there's only $20 price difference.

That ad only showed the 360 Premium, but I suspect a $50 drop on the Elite and a $30 drop on the Arcade.

I'm not sure that they can afford to make it cheaper than the Wii.

However, if that Ad is indeed accurate, you can expect to see me on Xbox Live in a couple of weeks

TBQH, Sony will most likely just include the 65nm Cell in all PS3s and a different Blu-ray drive to make it cheaper. I suspect the 40GB lowering to $350 and the 80GB going to $450 if what I speculate is the truth.
