My sd card decided to die (randomly luckily I just backed its contents up yesterday) so I need a new one.
was ancient anyways (like a class 2 or class 4 iirc)

I have no idea how fast of a (mirco) sd card is needed.

looking for a 32 or 64gb one under $30~ so I can finish dumping my physical games and not have to worry about carrying em anymore.

Anyone know of specific good ones or places with good deals for sd cards?

edit: oh and should I get a 3.0 card reader? or can sd reader get full speed out of a faster card?

Amazon, your local Walmart/Bestbuy will price match if you'd rather buy local.

You could get a 3.0 reader, it would take advantage but if your current one works are you going to really be using it constantly? You can get them pretty cheap though and stay under $30 easy.

yeah was looking at amazon just now.

thinking about this sd card and prolly grab this card reader. (my desktops sd reader can be fickle and un-mount card randomly)

well reason for reader would be to move backups and other files (like music) between the system

Yeah get the reader then. Don't want it dropping out during read/write.
