I have 2 games that I have been trying to get working.

Both i think are Pal ( I have a US Wii but can play other pal games with no problems )

I tried every configuration in Gamma but to no avail all I get is a black screen or when I force ntsc it will go to a green screen

I'm using component cables.

Just for giggles I hooked up the composite cables and the game would show up on the screen but in black and white and flickering.

Anyone have any ideas as to why this isn't working with my component cables? And let me be the first to say I am a complete idiot and I really appreciate the help. I know you guys get tired of people posting stupid questions without using the wonderful search button. But thank you for any and all help.

the 2 games:

Professor Heinz Wolff's Gravity

and

The Simpsons Game

Why dont, you know, get games that are in your region?

Usenet and FXP boards don't have much to choose from and torrents and P2P are out of the question. Rapidshare is iffy and I don't feel like setting up XDCC in IRC. But trust me I try when I can. I'll try to make my own rips soon.

Thank you for the info

Isn't there some sort of compatibility list to check first before making threads with silly titles?

I think you mean this one:

http://wiki.gbatemp.net/wiki/index.php/Backup_Launcher

Under "The Simpsons Game", it says the Pal version works but the NTSC says "NA" I didn't know of any other list until now ( thank you Tichinde925 )

As for the other game its not on the list.

I made the "Silly Title" to see if more people would read it and help.

Thank you for the time and effort of helping the ignorant ( me ) it is appreciated.

Are they pal60 or pal50?

I have a feeling they are your only PAL50 games and your TV can't support it.

try forcing PAL60.
