Gaming Weird desktop problem

ok err... So I wanted to change my background...

Which I find weird.

No I haven't experienced any problems with a background before.
Except, for this same picture, but it was a different resolution... (looked blurry anyway, it was way too small, and badly resized by windows ;P)
And it looked pretty much the same :/
I have no idea what causes this

Any idea?

Do you have 32bit color quality set (highest)?

Strange it would be doing that

Yep, it's 32-bit.

Changing it to 16-bit won't change much

What is the format of the picture? (ex: .BMP, .JPG...)

Converted to bmp... looks good now
