I can't say I have a favorite, more like a top ten list equal to each other. Doom 3 is a top favorite for PC Gaming, Resident Evil 4 not the remake, tom clancy rainbow six rogue spear, splinter cell chaos theory, tom clancy's splinter cell conviction (sure, this one gets some hate but there were a lot of good praises.. so the reviews got mixed ratings. There are more top games I love but the list is too long.

If we talk about all time, it probably has to be Minecraft. I haven't played it that much lately, but it's something that you can probably always return to.
If we talk about nostalgica, it's probably LEGO Island Xtreme Stunts. I just love the early 2000's music vibin' to driving around the open world island with the skateboard. But the game has severe technical issues. Another nostalgic game is Asterix & Obelix XXL2 but that one's far more linear.
If we talk about modern games, the ones where I sinked the most time into in the past years were Anno 1800 and Snowrunner. Anno 1800 has so many complex good systems and so much content compared to previous anno games. It is also set in a special time where I feel not that many games are set (industrialization, early electricity and trains etc). But it's also a bit fictionized with airships playing an important role.
For snowrunner, it's an offroad truck driving simulator. You're basically driving around... mud... that has been a road long time ago, delivering goods to rebuild the areas. At every moment, you have to be cautious not to roll over, not to damage the truck and you need to keep an eye on the fuel needle because there are not many gas stations left.
With all of the DLC now available, I imagine that you have to play 500-1000 hours to finish everything. It's also a great multiplayer experience.
