Gaming Watching youtube on the Vita

Hey guys,
I have a bit of a problem, I want to be able to watch youtube videos on my PS Vita. The problem is, my area only has ADSL one available (1.5mb a second) this is crap, I know! when I go to load a youtube video, it automatically tries to buffer in HD, but the fastest my internet speed can go is 480p.

is there any way to force render youtube videos in the internet app to SD on my Vita?

does the psn store in your country have the youtube app? if it does try that
i am asking because Portugal doesn't have it

i have 1.5 Mb as well download, so i have that set
most of the time videos run at 360p

sadly, the only way of watching youtube videos for me is in the internet browser. I cannot get the Youtube APP because I have a sub account which is a pain in the neck!

1.5mbps isn't that bad, I watch Youtube on my PSVita over 3G with very little difficulty.
