R4i sdhc 1.4 card with the 1.18 update from bout 19th march still gets black screen.

altho i did notice rom was pretty small after patchin g so maybe summat has gone tits up that end

Tried patched rom/clean rom on dsmume 0.9.5 and it dosent work

EDIT2: i tried with 0.9.4 and clean rom works

EDIT3: Dam no saving

Guess i'll just use save state

thank you for the patch first of all!

secondly, I am running the patched rom from my M3DS Real, with the most recent firmware update ( get it here http://down.gbalpha.com/GBalpha/Softwares/...;M3DS-R_M66.zip this is the 24-3-2010 release of the firmware, VERY recent)

now i was at the "create a save file" screen for about 10 minutes as it chugged away at creating the monster save file. I'll report back with my findings.

EDIT: OK! well i'm happy to announce that saving WORKS on the M3DS Real with the most up to date patch + the rom patch. those of you with the M3DS Real should update your firmware ASAP.

Your supposed to. The fix creates a 16 MB file (I'm assuming the remaining 114,128kb of data is piracy protection and filler data!)

I've had no problems at all. Saves fine, never had a black screen and all the content is there.

If your file ends up with 0kb, you will have to extract the contents from the .rar file again, since the patch deletes the arm7 file after using the x.bat.

My file ended up with 0kb what .rar file should i extract? the patch file? and than what?

Edit: I'm patching the game again and again and i'm getting okb every time.

This happened to me too. I finally got it to work by renaming to cvn-mio.nds. If the .nds file extension is not there it will not work. The patch will take slightly longer when you do this but it should work.

omg....
i patched it(i mean the rom

) and i gained 2 files (...)fixed,(...)orginal(they are .nds files).
When i try to open fixed dosent even load(and there isn't any game icon)
When i try to open orginal it's just the same rom.
I got r4 SDHC...
Have anybody have working patch (for that version)?

i'd like to play it so much!

If you can, use YSMenu. It has been made a fix for that.

well im hearing youu can get it to work on ysmenu
on the ak2i you can get ysmenu but theres a chance you could brick your card so its risky
i guess we'll just have to wait for a proper patch for the game or a new firmware update
