is it me or could you here someone popping bubble wrap in the background they probably need a lot to cover that thing
 
this just blows the ipad out of the water, so much for the ipad when you can do this lol i think i watched a documentary where they said that things like this will be part of the future, i might look it up and post it here.

If you use an iPhone 4 that thing has such a high pixel density that your eye can't see each individual pixel so blowing it up this big should only degrade the quality slightly. It might be more like looking at a 3rd gen iPod screen

Uh.

The retina panel is 960x640 native.

On a 58"' panel those pixels will be the size of your fist.

uh, it would look like the wii on a 43" television... so i guess you are right, pixels the size of fists.
