I've been hearing more and more about what rev14 is bringing us, but I haven't seen a cohesive list... I'm the MOST concerned with knowing what this nand emulation is about, what is it exactly? Also, can someone please list me some features that will be in rev14?

Thanks a bunch GBA temp, you guys are the rocks in my socks.

The only thing I know is that it enables VC/WW running from SD and USB

Nand emulation means that it redirect all nand calls to sd card calls. So a loader that can load channels, can load channels from sd card with this nand emulation. Apparently the system menu itself does not work, but this could be of some IOS Reload.

The best new feature of cIOSrev14 will be proper 001 patching and leaving most if not all stuff that can be done from a loader, to the loader.

Will 14 fix the issue with not being able to play the metroid prime new play control titles from USB loaders? Or is that still impossible?

...do cool stuff if you read up and know what you're doing.

Read the Pastebin-Entry, there are a few examples.

Sure it can be done with some tweaking, but I think he's asking if the IOS reload issue will be fixed natively.

So theorectically I have an 8 gig SDHC card which Rock Band 2 does not support. Could I do NAND emulation - make my Wii think my SD card is really 8 gigs of internal space and be able to fill it with DLC?
