Fantastic I just wish something like this would of been known a while back.Yes, complete single .xci file.

I do not know if certs are game specific.Certs can only be used on game backups of the same game this time around, correct?
Yes, you would want to remove the cert data. If you want these dumps to be like BBB dumps you replace the cert data with FF.So it would be a good idea for anyone dumping their own carts to remove the certificate before sharing online or with anyone else.
BBB say it's from 0x7000 to 0x7200, so just overwrite that with zeros I guess.
XCI Explorer can clear the certs for you.what tool is used to do this?
This is all I know, the info is on Switchbrew. Can you elaborate on this please? I currently use dumps in the normal partition to extract header data. From my understanding, you're saying that folder will now be empty and instead that same information will be relocated to the logo partition? Can you pm me please, I haven't quite figured out how to do that just yet, or can you explain it? lol Sorry, new to the forms. I'm the creator of XCIment. Thank you
The cert data needs to be replaced with FF’s not 00’s.I stripped the header from my dump and ran a crc32 check on it and it still doesn't match. Not sure why.
no, just the cartIf you have the dlc installed will it dump that as well?
Yes, they will match if you blank out the certs with FF’s. Lost Sphere also has not been dumped by BBB but I happen to have that game. What games doesn't have a BBB release? A list would be great. Will This CRC 100% with a BBB release of the same cart?
We still need:
Sushi Striker
Harvest Moon: Light of Hope Special Edition
Fallen Legion: Rise to Glory
There are some games BBB has not yet dumped. Plus, if you want to play online you need a valid and unique certificate. Why would you need to dump your own copy of games? We have google...
Happy Birthdays, Legend of Kay, Cube Creator, and The Snack World Trejarers should all have the new logo partition.Oh, sorry stupid mistake, @AnalogMan is correct. Using FF's instead did end with a matching file and dumps are working with my tool! Well, excluding these new ones I haven't stumbled across yet with a new partition layout.
-- Edit --
I see this on switchbrew "[4.0.0+] The "normal" partition is now empty and a new partition "logo" was added." but have not come across any carts with a version that high yet
-- Edit 2 --
Checking Wild Guns Reloaded, seems I missed something there.
Unsure, I have 4.1.0 so all games are within my firmware. Would like to hear from someone who can test that.If firmware of switch is lower than cartridge, is it possible to dump?
Theres just something more special about ripping your own games. Just me probably being anal. Why would you need to dump your own copy of games? We have google...
You could rent a game, dump it and return it. You would be sharing the header data. But it wouldn't be shared with potentially thousands of people on the internet, so may reduce you ban risk. Why would you need to dump your own copy of games? We have google...
Problem I see with this is that if someone else were to buy the game OR do what you did, now there are at least 2 people using the same header to go online so not exactly safe to just dump a game you plan on not keeping. You could rent a game, dump it and return it. Buy, dump, return
Buy, dump, sell on

Yes my point exactly agreed! I don’t fancy like going online with Mario kart, splatoon, pokken dx etc.. with a bbb release, no thanks I don’t fancy like unusable switch. The certs will be Cart binded bbb probably change the cert code to work without revealing the original cert.Yes, they will match if you blank out the certs with FF’s. Lost Sphere also has not been dumped by BBB but I happen to have that game.
