Im waiting for BBB to dump Urban Trial Playground, but physical is sold in EU only.

The cert is intact.

So it would be a good idea for anyone dumping their own carts to remove the certificate before sharing online or with anyone else.
BBB say it's from 0x7000 to 0x7200, so just overwrite that with 0xFF bytes.

(edit: changed suggestion from zeros to 0xFF as OP tells me that's what BBB use )

A hex editor. I use 0xED on Mac, people usually say Hex Workshop for Windows.
Or someone could write a quick simple tool to zero (edit: 0xFF) out the certificate for people who don't want to use a hex editor.

HxD or any hex editior. You can also prepare a zero-filling cert then inject back to dumped XCI using XCIment.

Games used to store their icon and name data in a partition labeled "normal" on the game cart. However, newer games now have an empty "normal" partition and have a new logo partition that stores the icon data. This dumper does not handle those newer games. So if you try to dump a really new game, like the LABO games, the dumper will fail.

Can you elaborate on this please? I currently use dumps in the normal partition to extract header data. From my understanding, you're saying that folder will now be empty and instead that same information will be relocated to the logo partition? Can you pm me please, I haven't quite figured out how to do that just yet, or can you explain it? lol Sorry, new to the forms. I'm the creator of XCIment. Thank you

We tried with 2 games, Mario Odisey gave an error to 70% and fifa18 gave an error to 25% I think that he needs some update to the program at the moment, Thanks anyway

tested with splatoon 2 and it worked correctly, we will continue doing more tests.

Sorry, I'm jumping onto this a bit late. Just wanted to say I've dumped both of those games you've mentioned without problem. My FW is 5.0.2 if that matters. I'll post proof momentarily. Maybe it's your end?

just to be clear I can dump my own carts with this, but i should use XCI explorer to extract the cert, edit with zeros and then reinject before I can share the file?

Yes you should wipe your cert before you share, and yes that's one way to do it.

I stripped the header from my dump and ran a crc32 check on it and it still doesn't match. Not sure why.

Yeah, I'll be combing through it to see if I can find differences. I'm sure the cart I'm comparing to at the least is the same region and version, at least from what I've pulled from the data files so far.
