Gaming WADs & Club Nintendo Points

So I got to thinking...you get 10 points for every select Virtual Console/WiiWare you register with Club Nintendo.
You have to attach your ClubNintendo account to your Wii in order to register them.

If you install all the coin-redeemable WADs and then link your ClubNintendo account with your Wii would it register all the VV/WW wads you installed and give you ClubNintendo points for them?

Just a quick question, and please don't harass me - I'm a noob in the Wii scene.

No. You will only earn the coins when you download the channels and VC games through the Wii Shop Channel (Nintendo somehow knows because it says this in their FAQ), and any games you've downloaded before linking your Club Nintendo Account to your Wii won't give you the coins either.
