Kyno, the latest version is actually v2d, found back a couple pages. I think it mainly just fixes bugs for 16:9 TVs.

Bug report:

I am using v2d (as I got the scrambled text and this fixed it.

The problem is I have a list of 28 wads I want to install, but the top 2 wads in the list don't display. I can hit the up arrow and mark them (took forever to figure this out) but the list doesn't move and I can't see the wad that I am currently on. If I hit the 2 button though the name of it displays and I can mark it for install.

Any fix for this?

Can't try the 16:9 fixes, as I don't have a 16:9 TV.
Can't try USB, as my HD isn't here atm. (I'm afraid that USB won't work again..)

I couldn't get v2d, or any version for that matter, to work with USB either (ret = -1). If I have 3 partitions on my HDD, does the 1st partition have to be for homebrew?

Right now I have personal files on the 1st (NTFS), homebrew 2nd (FAT), and WBFS 3rd, and it's not working for usb or usb2.

2f seems to fix the issue with the content amount
(thanks justmii, got your file just 10 seconds before i read about 2f)

I wasnt able to get any of my USB Sticks mounted (all FAT formatted)

A little question
Can you shorten up the text below, so it will be fit in 2/3 lines?

Instead of

Press A button to (un)install a WAD file.
Press B button to go up-level DIR.
Use the + and - Buttons to (un)mark files.
Press the 1 Button to start batch operations.
Press the 2 Button for file operations.

how about:

QUOTEPress A to (un)install a WAD, Press B to go up-level DIR.

Press 1 to start batch operations, Press 2 for file operations

This also solves the Button button versions

On the other hand, why is there an A option and a 1 Option
If there is only one file marked or 10..it is still the same thing..install or uninstall..
So maybe A can do it always instead of differing between A and 1 (and yes you can install 1 marked wad with 1)
This would also save some space , so more WADs can presented in one moment

I was thinking about that same thing. Why have A install one wad when you can press + on one wad and install it that way as well? I'd just do away with A, or maybe make it the button to start batch operations.

The Changelog says:

v3:
- Reassigned the buttons again (Read Usage section)
- Shortened on-screen instructions down to 2 lines
- Fixed bug when changing directory with marked WADs

Usage:
QUOTEPress the "A" Button to (un)install WADs.
If no file is marked, the normal single file (un)install menu will appear.
If at least one file is marked, the batch (un)install menu will appear.

Press the "+" Button to (un-)mark the selected WAD for batch installation
Press the "-" Button to (un-)mark the selected WAD for batch uninstallation
Press the "1" Button to go to the operations menu (can yet only delete single files)

A "+" will appear in front of the name of marked WADs for installation
A "-" will appear in front of the name of marked WADs for uninstallation

I still had no time to install r17 to get USB working again. I'll do that later.

you cannot install R17 with the updater because of cause its updating and installing the lastest revs of devkit and it libraries not installing R17 you must unpack and install the zip's/rar's your self unfortunatly
