I felt bothered that there was no WAD Manager that can (un)install multiple WADs at a time (At least none that I know of), so I decided to do it myself.
I used wiiNinja's mod v3 of Waninkoko's WAD Manager 1.5, as it is imho the best one. (Thanks to the authors!)
Maybe someone also feels bothered, so I though I might share this.

Download v3b: http://www.mediafire.com/file/mwywvfij0qm/...ultimod_v3b.rar

This version is now fully working on 4:3 and 16:9 screens and DOES work with USB devices.

Changelog & Usage:

Usage:
Code:
ÂÂÂÂPress the "A" Button to (un)install WADs.
ÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂIf no file is marked, the normal single file (un)install menu will appear.
ÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂIf at least one file is marked, the batch (un)install menu will appear.

ÂÂÂÂPress the "+" Button to (un-)mark the selected WAD for batch installation
ÂÂÂÂPress the "-" Button to (un-)mark the selected WAD for batch uninstallation
ÂÂÂÂPress the "1" Button to go to the operations menu (can yet only delete single files)

ÂÂÂÂA "+" will appear in front of the name of marked WADs for installation
ÂÂÂÂA "-" will appear in front of the name of marked WADs for uninstallation

Changelog:

v3:
  • Reassigned the buttons again (Read Usage section)
  • Shortened on-screen instructions down to 2 lines
  • Fixed bug when changing directory with marked WADs
v2:
  • Reassigned the buttons (Read the Usage section)
  • Batch un- and installation is now possible in one turn
  • Added confirmation screen before (un-)installation
  • Added file operations (can yet only delete single files)
v1:
  • Added batch (un)installation

I dunno why you wanna know and what it would change if or if not, but they're installed in the order they're displayed in the selection menu (it just goes through the list and bypasses the ones that are not selected)

Because in case of interruption, there may be potential problem.

e.g. IOS70 (wad) should first be installed before System Menu 4.2 (wad).

Ah well, if any of that kind is the case, you should install one after another.
My intention was to (un)install multiple channel wads, didn't think of system wads though, as I never install them with the wad manager, but use tools like dop IOS mod for IOS's..

This is absolutely incorrect. the only way that this would matter is if somehow there is an issue that occurs after insatlling the system menu and before the IOS 70 is installed...... so in other words don't try to install shit in the middle of bad weather when the power could die.

I don't know what you are talking about.

He's saying that it doesn't matter what order they are installed in. If you installed the system menu and then tried installing IOS70 but lost power in the middle, your Wii would get bricked. As long as both are installed properly, it doesn't matter the order.

Thanks for the mod Leathl!

Nice release. I probably wouldn't use it during modding to install ios wads though.

I will certainly recommend people use it on fresh Wiis to reinstall 5-6 Wiiware/VC titles at a time. Install 5-6 at a time, then do the NAND --> SD dance. If it was possible to do the move to SD part automatically as well it could save even more time. I've spent hours installing Wiiware/VC games.

QUOTEWAD Manager 1.3 by Waninkoko
Batch install mod by Cluster

Just put all you WADs into "sd://gameswad" directory and run this tool to install them all.

I have this modded version which Cluster made which just does install of everything in that directory.

but I will get yours as well for the selection option

correct in most cases.
let me write a program that installs IOS60 (non stub) & system menu 4.1
and have it crash after it installed system menu but before IOS60 and make it so pressing reset does nothing (and yes, some apps like usbloadergx do that. they overwrite the reload to hbc stub)
ill tell you i can system menu brick your wii that way(surprise surprise)

its a precaution to install the ios first

also, its not hard to have it install the wads in order you selected them

This is exactly what I mean.

In the worst (concrete) case :
I have 3.2U with no IOS70 in my system, originally. Suppose I want to upgrade to 4.2U and install some VC/WW (wads).
If the System menu 4.2 wad is arranged to be the second wad to install, while the IOS70 wad is arranged to be the 8th, then after the System menu 4.2 has been installed and the program is interrupted before the 8th IOS70 installation, the Wii may be bricked.

highly doubtfull
DSI exception->press reset on wii-> back in hbc
unless ofc, the wad manager overwrites the reload stub which i doubt it does (and if it does, wtf wanker; what where you thinking?)

I don't know.

It's just as safe as replacing the brakes on your car while you're driving, you might not hit anything but then again.
