you can try this, may not work but may be worth a shot. when starting up wii mode hold + and - on wii remote and when black health screen pops up it should stick you in maintenance mode. Try to check the channels menu in system menu, see if there any corrupted ones, they may show as a "?". if they are you can try deleting them and than reboot and see if that helps.

So wait what? I can not do this... is this only possible with a hacked vWii?

Well, I discovered another possible clue for my semi-brick!

I tried to play some Wii games (using recovery mode to enter the vWii menu) and after I created a save file I noticed that the date was wrong.

It was something like 21/05/01.I tried another game and after saving,the date was the same!

I checked the Wii U menu and the date and time were correct. In fact I re-entered them just in case.

After that,I repeated the process of playing a Wii game and again the wrong date is displayed on me save files.

My theory it is that something messed up wi my vWii softmod and screwed up the correct date. I suppose that there is a very big possibility that the semi-brick is caused by the difference of date between Wii U and vWii. What do you think?

And finally,is there any way to manually change the date and time in vWii?

P.S JoostinOnline, I tried to run again WFP and make a save file but this seems that has not affected anything...

Check the Counter Bias value with InspectMii.

1) Was it negative?
2) Please run the latest version.

I just downloaded version 1.1 and tried to run it 4 times and the result was 4 times the app crashed.

I cannot run v1.1 after pressing A at the second screen that prompts it,a "DSI exception occured".

The strange thing is that v1.0 was running flawlessly!

Hmmm...I suppose that this crash shows that something is wrong with my vWii.But what exactly you changed in the latest version that is causing this problem?

Perhaps,this is crucial in order to find a solution...

Check the log file to see where it stopped.

Is the log file inside the apps folder?

Because,no matter how many times I tried to open it,it is empty (0 kb) and a window informs me that the file is destructed and is not possible to be read.

What can I do now?

You can stop having problems so I can call this a win and feel good about myself. :hateit:

Anyway, you could take a picture of the crash if you're fast enough. Also, was the number negative?

Here are my photos.

Sorry for the delay and the bad resolution but this was my first time ever I tried to take a photo from my cellphone and copy it in my computer.

P.S I cannot express enough my gratitude for your help so far. I don't know if you manage to help me solve finally my problem but for ne you are definately a special person!:grog:

Thank you, but once again I ask, was the number negative?

I cannot understand to which number you mean.

I can write to you all the information the last screen shows to me before the crash.

AREA=EUR
MODEL=RVL-001(EUR)
DVD=0
MPCH=0x7FFE
CODE=OEM
SERNO=100221237
VIDEO=PAL
GAME=EU

Thanks for your help!

I had written the number in paper so I am pretty confident that it was not!
You added a - sign before it, so I couldn't be sure. Anyway, your counter bias is about 12 years (which isn't strange), so it's odd that your date would show up the way it did. Can you try the game on another Wii or Wii U?

Well,I have another Wii,so I tried the game (using Wiiflow) with no problems displaying the correct date and time.

Unfortunately,I do not have another Wii U with homebrew installed... :-(
