Isn't the vWii already upscaled? (I might be wrong though)guys with all the exploits going on, can we upscale the vWii now ??
It doesn't. My TV sets to 480p60 resolution when I enter vWii.Im pretty sure vWii is already being upscaled. If it isn't, it already looks pretty good depending imo.
Interesting... my TV continues to claim 1080p when I enter vWii mode, though i can see the aliasing due to the low resolution. It doesn't. My TV sets to 480p60 resolution when I enter vWii.
it would be cool to get similar graphics with what the dolphin emulator can !
and guys, is there still no other way to get the vwii hax unless you have a original game disc e.g brawl /tosdotnw/lego batman thing etc.?
can we not get the vwii hax with redNAND ?
It must be your TV, then. I have a very basic TV with almost no features.Interesting... my TV continues to claim 1080p when I enter vWii mode, though i can see the aliasing due to the low resolution.
Me too, continues to claim 720PIt must be your TV, then. I have a very basic TV with almost no features.
Getting Dolphin-like results (clean, no jaggies, etc), that will require a lot of processing power.
Except for, y'know, the whole GPU. (Wii mode GPU is completely different from Wii U mode, and you can't use Wii mode functionality in Wii U mode.)Since the Wii U will not need to emulate most things to run Wii in Wii U mode, using Wii U mode should give it the extra power needed to bump it up to 720p.
Thay both use PowerPC at least, the same architecture, the Wii U is pretty much a Wii or GC with Steroids, maybe in the future we can maybe see a Nintendon't for loading Wii or maybe GC games on the Wii U side of the console, some games would work on higher resolution and others probably will not like Brawl or The Last Story, who knows?Except for, y'know, the whole GPU. Stretching =/= Upscaling.Upscaling is just taking a 480P resolution image and stretching. This is what the WiiU already does.
I have an legit Lenkeng adapter and it is just as blurry as the original Wii2HDMI. Whatever the Wii U has inside, it is doing a way better work than those HDMI adapters on the market.from what i remember about this from previous discussion on here.... the vWii makes the wii u do the upscaling which is poor compared to when you have a regular wii and a HDMI adaptor for example which allows the HDTV to do the upscaling (which results in a better looking image).
