I'd like to volunteer for testing the exploits that people are talking about. One of them is "ORASHax" and the other one is the QRHax that plutoo was talking about.
How do I?

Hmm, I have all 4 Pokemon games
EDIT: Both Hoenn remakes
That doesn't matter at all... the more randos these guys have "volunteering for testing" the more likely someone will leak it, and in the case of the one Plutoo's doing, having Nintendo remove it from the eShop. I'm sure these guys are capable of testing their own hax.

Hmm, that seems legit. Mods lock this thread (and probably delete it)

If console serial matches, allow hax. Otherwise, gtfo. Why 3DS devs haven't been doing this from the get go is beyond me. Also, @Salamencizer, who are you and why do you deserve to be a beta tester?

An actually working version of the hax itself leaking isn't necessarily the only thing that could go wrong. If testers go blabbing about how X game can be used as an entrypoint then Nintendo can go and remove it from the eShop before the hax is even officially released.

True, unless of course the exploit isn't based on an eShop title.

Even if it weren't an eshop title, they could have a patch waiting for when the exploit does get released to the public because one person leaked it

Hmm, thats true. They once had released a "Stability" patch for ORAS, during the time of spider3dstools. It was released so that people who didnt have 9.5 couldn't go online on ORAS. Wish we had httpwn back then lol

That's inevitable to happen regardless of someone leaking the exploit or even talking about it (IE, browserhax). However, if the exploit had some sort authentication in place, Nintendo wouldn't be able to do anything if it were leaked unless the source was leaked as well.

Nobody is going to let you volunteer. Not Plutoo, not this ORAS guy, and sure as hell not me and the rest of Team H20. We are capable of testing are own hax.
