Visualboy Advance vmv problem.

Hey, so I recorded a Visualboy Advance vmv movie, (I didn't record an AVI because the game's always laggy when I record AVI, plus I was just gonna play the movie later & record an AVI while playing,) & the problem is the vmv only recorded a few seconds. &, of course, when I played the movie, I lost the last save data I had before I recorded it.

Um, why did it only record a few seconds? I played for, like, 20 minutes...

I tried recording a .vmv movie on VisualBoyAdvance-M (SVN1097), and it seemed to work fine for me. My clip was longer than a few seconds.
