Hacking VistaDX Sakura Theme 1.0b

I've been working on my own, very first Sakura theme and thought i'd share it with you all

(Note: Screenshots are mocked up, but the real thing looks very very similar)

Its about 75% done, only things left are the Config/Setup Menu, and the media player (but it fits in quite nice at the moment

)

**UPDATE**

Version 1.0c - 95% Done (Only have 2 setup menu left, but thats a bit of a query as it launches as an app so :s )

* All files have new icons
* All spacing issues fixed
* Re-did a few things, makes them look nicer
* Clock/Calender screen done
* Overall polish up
* Added proper Vista Scroll bars, with a pressed down effect

**UPDATE**

Version 1.1 Final - 100% Done.

* Reskinned all media controls (Including mp3 Browser controls)
* Fixed a few random things
* Added a Start Button Menu now! (Thanks for finding that Sportsmaniac1322!!)
* Added Single list icons/options (Used to be only Double)

NOTE: I have left in the default Sakura Setup menu, as i feel it should remain the same as a menu unique to Sakura.

If anyone finds any bugs, please tell me

Looks pretty sweet from the screenshots you have. I do have a question though. When you slide it up, does the bottom text overwrite the top? Because some skins just has it go over so it just looks like a bunch of jumbled up words and it's really annoying...

The top screen changes to a background without text, so its easy to read

Looks promising. I'll load it onto my M3 when it comes in the mail. Get to work on the full version; we may have one of the coolest Vista themes available!

EDIT: Do you intend on changing the font for the file names displayed on the bottom-right screenshot? Looks like courier or something... it doesn't look very good if you're using Segoe UI (or is that Calibri?) as the font for more or less everything else. Just my opinion, feel free to cast it aside if you like. =P

actually the font in the actual UI is just the default Sakura font, as I haven't found a guide to show me how to change the font in the ui yet. I would like to use Segoe UI in the next version

I wanted to label it 100%, but theres still a few things i need to do and couldn't release a 100% without it being my whole conception :S

Planned:

* 100% MP3/Media Control skins
* Sound Scheme
* Trying to code a .NDS demo to go with the skin, just as an entry to NDS development and to quote monty python/futurama

Wow! This is great! I've finally been able to replace my Exultation v2 skin I've had since Sakura came out. It was the only one I've liked that's so professionally done and nothing had been able to replace it until this. Great job!

I do have one thing that may have been overlooked. I know it's not 100% but it's worth mentioning. When you hit the start button, you can't see anything unless you move the dpad up and down. Other than that, it's great!

This made my day! I love the Windows Media Player music and movie controls!

What you should do is make a mini_load.bmp that goes with this theme (the picture that comes up after you choose a game). That would make it perfect.
