TBH, I'm not sure of too many places in the EU that make repro boxes and manuals and such. I know of a fair few from the US, but most of the ones I think of only provide NTSC stuff, they won't make PAL boxes or manuals or anything.
I think your best bet would simply be to check eBay and see if they have the box or manual you want and go from there.
Inserts are super easy to get, you should be able to find someone selling big "packs" of them for cheapo on eBay as well. I usually see packs of like $10 for $10 on eBay occasionally.

One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better. -

I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way

Just give it a try, but honestly if you have a 3DS you can play DS games without a card just off the internal SD card
