Hacking version 2.0 on ezv

i've bought an ezv but when i want to go to version 2.0 stops working during the loading at:"safefree request nullpointer.". can someone help me?

If it was an older EZ5 or EZ5 NYE it might not have had the bootstrap update done to it (indeed what you described certainly sounds like it).
