Hacking VC Save Injector - Can't Inject Save Icon

Ok, first of all i know that is more simple to play this game with an emulator, but is a kinda of a challenge for me right now.

I correctly Injected the italian translated rom of Chrono Trigger in Donkey Kong Country 2, and i Also correctly Changed the icon,the banner and the game infos, but i have a problem injecting the save iconand the name of the save.

Using vc_save_inject.exe when i select the 00000001.app i have a "runtime error 5 invalid procedure call or argument".

There is a way to avoid this error or another way to change the icon and the save name/title?

The only VC that stores the save icon as well as the ROM in the dol is NES VC, SNES VC has a file easily editable with any tpl tool in 00000005.app, if the name and comment is not clearly visible it is most likely in the dol, a hex editor will work best for this.

I would just use the official release as base just for the added benefits.

There's no official release for that game.

Are you sure that the save icon is stored in the 00000005.app? Vc_save_inject.exe try to replace it in the 00000001.app

And what is a tpl.tool?
