Yeah its interesting.. obviously got a few newer revisions (meet the robisons) 3ds versions.

But as far as Ive been told those later 3ds meetrobinsons r4igolds do use newer hardware.
The chip thats used improves the loading speed inside wood according to ywg. So its good news that you have those in with the bulk.

But they need another updater to this one obviously.

Yes this thread was very helpful, the whole time I thought I had original r4igold cards and waited for this patch.

Little did i know that i indeed had 3ds versions (and some regular ones too).

I now have all my stock updated, now to update my ds consoles to 1.4.2

Hopefully nothing goes wrong with the update.

Do you know if there is a OFFLINE update NDS file? or does it have to be ONLINE?

obviously be careful as i cannot test but looking through the code the bootloaders work the same and this will flash a DSTTi to the R4iGold Bootloader allowing wood to be used

Yep I know....

Let's see if this MIGHT help (I'm sure some1 will be able to confirm/deny this)

There are THREE FOUR types of 'official' R4i Gold cards that these patches will work on
There's the R4i 3DS, R4i Gold (3DS version) and the older R4i Gold (non-3DS version)
[The 'Forth' card is in fact a 'R4i Gold 3DS' but with a standard R4i Gold sticker on them - a 'non-branded' 3DS card]

The Newer R4i Gold 3DS cards BEFORE updating show 'Meet the Robinson' icon

The Older non-3DS R4i Gold cards BEFORE updating show 'Fish Tycoon' icon

AFTER updating (with the appropriate patch) all cards EXCEPT the non-branded 3DS cards, should show 'Spongebob' icon

The non-branded 3DS cards show 'Miami Nights 3D' instead

EDIT: Back onto your 'Star Wars Lethal Alliance' - I'm not sure but that icon shows up on a 'R4 SDHC' flashcard, there are also several 'R4i Gold' clones that may also show that icon.... Do you have a web address on the sticker - if so what is it ??

I just updated with the V2 patch and the game is now Miami Nights 3d.

The V1 used Spongebob, the V2 uses a different game.
