That doesn't mean there aren't people who don't want to mess with that, because they have no need for it. Downgrading and installing an A9LH CFW is a pretty involved process and kind of a hassle just to install one HBL cia, assuming the person isn't a pirate.

You can borrow someone's cubic ninja or OoT to set it up, and then always have access to homebrew from your home menu. Not everybody wants to downgrade, some want a legit system and just use some homebrew occasionally.

I didn't think about that. And as a cheap digital game it's great for that purpose.

I had forgotten such people exist! :P

Thanks for this! I haven't touched the game since I beaten it and have a Steam version if I ever want to replay it. It'll be nice to not constantly swap out the OoT3D cartridge now.
