You can borrow someone's cubic ninja or OoT to set it up, and then always have access to homebrew from your home menu. Not everybody wants to downgrade, some want a legit system and just use some homebrew occasionally.

I didn't think about that. And as a cheap digital game it's great for that purpose.

You're forgetting about eshop access.

Who's forgetting? You don't even need eshop anymore. All you need is a .tik file and FBI will install directly from CDN (including things that can't currently be seen in eshop)

there was an update for this game a long time ago ("v1"). v0 isn't supported by this hax.

Thanks for this! I haven't touched the game since I beaten it and have a Steam version if I ever want to replay it. It'll be nice to not constantly swap out the OoT3D cartridge now.
