uTorrent woes, among other things...

Hey all.

So today I changed over from Norton 360 (pos

) to Avast!, and my uTorrent speed took a MASSIVE hit. Before I was getting great speeds, now I get piddly crap. Is this avast!'s fault? How can I configure it to not inhibit uTorrent? And yes, my port is forwarded.

Also, my PC likes to shut down when I'm in the middle of things sometimes, usually in a game (recently audiosurf is to blame), is it overheating and shutting down?
