Unfortunately I can't get this to work. I only want to install the NoOutlines.ips file.

I renamed the file to 'code.ips', stored it inside of 'luma\title\00040000001B5100', and enabled game patching.

Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? It seems as if I have followed all the steps, but I must be missing something.

Edit: I installed the 1.2 version on my 1.2 version of Ultra Moon, so that part seems correct as well

Edit 2: After reviewing the thread, I realized that my files were 'luma/title' when they should have been 'luma/titles'. It is working now

I want to thank whoever are the maker(s) of the NoForcedTrainerBattles and InstantMessage IPS Patched. it made going through the game super quick and way more enjoyable. I really appreciate the work that you creators put in to make it easy for us players. Thanks!

I know that the chances of this question being answered is low,
but is it possible to change what button opens the PC in the "PC Anywhere" patch?

Whenever I want to stop playing my randomizer and go SOS Shiny Hunting instead, I always turn off battle animations to speed up the hunt as much as possible, but since the options button is overwritten by the PC Anywhere patch, I have to do the following:
- Save My Game
- Close UsUm

- Open FBI
- Navigate to where my code.ips is stored
- Rename it to code.ipsD to prevent it from being used
- Close FBI

- Open UsUm
- Change Battle Animation Setting
- Save My Game
- Close UsUm

- Open FBI
- Navigate to where my code.ipsD is stored
- Rename it to code.ips to allow it to be used again
- Close FBI

- Open UsUm
- Start Shiny Hunting

If I could open the PC by clicking the Trainer Info button then I wouldn't have to close the game at all

it's possible to remap the button

@eman_not_ava assume u have the knowledge to use hex editor. the selected byte shown in the screenshot is the byte that represents the overwritten botton. 0E is Option,Trainer info tab would be something less than 0E, I dont have access to my 3ds nor the game(don't remember the exact order of those button), so do a bit math urself to figure out the value based on the in-game tab button layout. it should be one of 0A-0D.

@eman_not_ava did the trick work for u?
Sorry for the late reply, wasn't really expecting a reply from you so quickly.
I've tested out all of the ones you mentioned:
- 0A = "Poke Pelago" Button
- 0B = "Pokemon Refresh" Button
- 0C = "QR Scanner" Button
- 0D = "Battle Video" Button
So it still doesn't overwrite the trainer info button, but I'm okay with it overwriting the QR Scanner Button,
it was fun at first, but who still makes use of the QR Scanner lmao

you can try value beyond 0a too. like 09 08 etc.

Oh and btw, the Mega EvolvED patch for Ultra Moon(v1.2) doesn't work,
my pokemon still return to their normal forms afterwards
i dont have access to game nor console, cant do much about this one.

Thank you so much for your work! Although I seem to have an issue with patches megaevolvED.ips, instant messages and no mega check. They just don`t work for me. Can you please look into this? Huge thanks again, working cheats for Pokemon games are priceless.

Hello, could you put together the two IPS of Ultra Moon from Outline remove and Shiny 75% for me? I tried to merge them in mergeTool.exe but it always gives error when I run the game.

My version of the game is correct with the patch, 1.2. I also put the mergeTool_ordered.txt file in the same folder with the two IPS to merge them into the program. But even so, when I put the generated IPS (code.ips) in the luma folder, the Pokémon Ultra Moon game does not start! I just wanted the code.ips file with these two patches joined together (remove outline & shiny chance 75%). Could you be so kind as to convert files and send together it to me in "code.ips"?? pleaaaase! thanks

-----

@SylverReZ, I also heard one of the Prince of Persia games was so unfinished that it required the "24/7 online" drm so a puzzle could be done and the game could be finished. And that when the Ubisoft servers were closed the (cracked) game was impossible to finish or something like that
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, That's extra scummy. Ubisoft nowadays ship out incomplete games like Skull and Bones which was being worked on for nearly a decade now.

I like that games can be fixed after the fact, hate that it's being abused via beta tests... And DLC... I was a 7800 owner back in the day and loved Impossible Mission, turns out I couldn't beat it because it was actually impossible lol

I never knew about it at the time but a fixed version was available but you had to mail in your broken copy lol

So that version is semi rare
