Which version of edizon are you using? If you're using the nightlies(which you should) there is a small blue c button which is where you access the cheats. You also have to make sure the cheat file matches your game's tittle id and build id

why Build Id of my games always change every times I launched the game, so the cheats cannot be use.
Anyone know how to fix this?
Please advise.

So I am having issues with cheats always on... like I have edited the atmosphere.ini file to say cheats toggled off by changing the 1 to 0 but still the cheats are always toggled on... please help.

the Build ID changes if you update your games as they're unique for EACH version of EVERY game. so, don't update your games. the only game I know for sure that codes will work on 2 versions is Dragon Quest XI S. Version 1.0.0 codes of this game will work on version 1.0.1 as long as the txt file's name is 191270F5ED4DB907 (that's the BID for DQXIS v.1.0.1. Yes, I'm aware that DQXIS can be updated to v. 1.0.3 but the original codes don't work)

I don't believe that I gonna write this but do you save the changes you make to the file before closing?

Does the titles folder in atmosphere had to be renamed/merge with the "new" contents one now in order to cheats work again in EdiZon?

originally, you don't rename the folder, but the files inside the folder. As a matter of fact, you'll need to change the cheats inside a file most of the time before renaming said file. Of course, you can have as many txt files for the same game as you wish so. That's what I do. I may have previously said that the only game I know whose cheats worked for at least 2 different versions was Dragon Quest XI S. Know that the version 1.0.0 cheats for that game works on version 1.0.1 as long as you have a txt file whose name is the BID for said version. Know that some of the cheats for those two versions do work on version 1.0.4

One more thing, I haven't touched on my Switch for a month so I may be in the dark. But, it is said that if you're using Atmosphere 0.10.0 or later, you must rename all the "titles" folders to "contents"

I notice that yes. Thanks to confirm. I just wanted to point out that the original post was in fine outdated; my question was unrelated with game's BID changes. The subject of the topic is Atmos after all.
I heard too and could test by myself that some cheats build for previous version of some games work in later versions (by you if i'm not wrong). Like PokemonLet'sGo, somes work, anothers don't. It was ever the case in good old time of the NDS.

Hi I have put cheats on for Mario odyssey and its saying cheats present but not editable wrong build or region or something like that is it because my Mario version is 1.3.0 should I not have updated it for cheats to work maybe? Does updating version of games mess your cheats about?

cant seem to get cheats working for Xenoblade 2 version 2.1.0, i have the correct program id and changed the cheats file to the correct build id and nothing shows up in edizon for cheats.

Hoping someone can help me with installing some cheats. I downloaded the files from cheatslip and unzipped them, now I have an atmosphere file folder. My question is do I drop that whole atmosphere folder into the atmosphere folder of my sd card or into the specific game folder part of my sd card? thanks in advance!

best method, and to always keep your cheats up to date, install the aio switch updater here. you can download cheats right on there and it grabs all updated cheats based on your game ID and installs them for you with one click of a button.
