Hi, all. I've recently enjoyed installing henkaku and one of my issues so far is having a hard time with gameshark. So far when I attempt to load game genie in most cores it comes up, but in the case of Gameshark I merely get a glitch, blank screen or an error code. Maybe it's a bad file? I don't know but even with game genie, once I load the code I just end up with a blank screen. Is there a method to loading codes/roms properly with usage of game genie? And what do to about gameshark?

Is there an appropriate method for using these (BIOS files) cheat device roms in Retroarch? I have the files for numerous console Genie/Shark versions, but so far can't figure out how to use them. Thanks!

I´ve no idea about GS, but the cheats menu seems to work fine for me, just update then via retroarch and give a try!

Having no problems with that, issue is solely with gameshark (retroarch cheats don't cover everything, I need specifics from Gameshark).

I'm sorry to bump but are there any answers? Is this perhaps a problem with the emulators processing the gameshark roms are are there just not any good gameshark roms to be found?

I doubt it would work, simply because the GameShark requires certain things, depending on which ROM version you have. You'd need to be able to load the GS ROM, enable your cheats, then have GS prompt Retroarch to load the game you want to play, while still keeping the cheats active in Retroarch's RAM.
So, in short, GameShark will not and probably will never work as intended in Retroarch. Hence Retroarch's cheat menu.
Unless you're just trying to load a GameShark ROM, for whatever reason.
