Hi on the homebrew launcher payload side is no payload for old3ds 11.5 so can I use hombrew on 11.5 and if not can I use homebrew apps through another app?

And will there be a payload someday?

Aren't all entrypoints patched in 11.5? If you want Homebrew on 11.5, you have limited options which you can find on this link for the Old 3DS. Basically it's installing boot9strap and Luma CFW either via the DSiWare thing or hardmod. Previous exploits (browserhax, tubehax, soundhax, *hax) were patched afaik.

yeah but my question is if u have already cfw on 11.5 can u run the homebrew launcher
Depends on your setup. CFW just means you can run sig patches, do you have BootStrap installed? If so....
Only through the CIA. Boot9Strap doesn't use binary payloads anymore, for HomeBrew or otherwise. Install the HomeBrew v1.3 CIA to your homemenu.

Ninjhax still works, although most of my homebrew freezes and leaves me on a red screen.

Freaking Nintendo stabilized anything worth using on 11.5 firmware which is why you'll need CFW before upgreading to their mostly stabily stabilized stable firmware that is super duper stable.

Because most entrypoints patched in 11.5. In my opinion, runing pure homebrew on 11.5 or later OFW gave a very low benefits.
Wow..... That really bums me out. Hopefully soon there's a reliable way to get homebrew working on 11.5. Homebrew is a big reason I went with a 3DS

Homebrew does not work on old 3DS on stock 11.4 or 11.5.

ok thanks for the helping I was just wondering because there was no payload for 11.5 but if u say it would work I'm happy^^

Does freeshop needs homebrew to work? Cause homebrew name appears when you launch it. My shop is still opening on 11.4 and I don't have the homebrew CIA.

Why do most people want to have homebrew anyway? What is it so good for? I'm curious.

Depends on what you mean by homebrew. For freeShop, you need full-on CFW because you can't install CIAs without it (unless it's a legit CIA I think). Homebrew (as in 3dsx files) have an advantage because you don't need CFW for it and lets you install a CFW. CFW homebrew is good because you can download game "backups" from applications like freeShop and run better homebrew and stuff (Smash Selector, bootNTR, game mods, etc). Afaik CIA (installable) homebrew can do more than 3dsx (Homebrew Channel).

I think what he was asking is why do people need access to 3dsx homebrew when they have CFW.
