Hello guys!

I have a problem with USBLoaderGX, the problem is that when i play games it crashes/freezes for me after 5~10 minutes.

Its sooo annoying and the hard drive is new and there is no problem with that. there are games that are crashing and some that are don't.

(For example: Mario Kart, Excite Truck are crashing and Wii Party and Animal Crossing: City Folk don't crash)

i play all my games in IOS 251 because all other IOS's just gives me a black screen. if someone can help me fast i will appreciate it a lot! :)
(I just wanna play games )

Hello.:)

Finally someone who achieved it,that your Wii Games STARTS at least.:D

Are you sure your Games/ISOs are ok/complete ?
Did you transferred the Games with the WiiBackup Manager from the PC the your Wii ?
Your HDD is formatted with which Format please ?
You are using the latest Release of the USBLoader GX -> v3.0 r1272 ?

And most important, which cIOSes and Bases did you have installed for the Slots 249/250/251 please ?
Maybe a sysCheck is also not a bad Idea:
https://gbatemp.net/threads/posting-a-system-check.300279/

Please check this Points.Good luck.
Thank you.:)

Hmm, I thought it might be a HDD sleep issue, but I think Mario kart would be a problematic game.
sleep issue happen on some drive with very low sleep delay, like less than 1minute.

If the drive is not used/read/access regularly, the drive stop spinning and the console never tries to re-init it.
the cIOS has a anti-sleep feature, but the delay could too high.

If it's not a sleep issue, maybe your cIOS is not the best one, for instance using IOS slot251 will probably mean you are using "base58" which is the least compatible IOS base, and will ends in lot of black screen.
The best base is 57, but some drive might have issues initializing at all without "base58". it's often the case with Flashdrives instead of HDD. but you mentioned "hard drive" so I don't think you are using a flashdrive.

Thank you,your sysCheck looks good.:)

You can change your Settings
IOS249[56] (rev 65535, Info: d2x-v10beta52): Trucha Bug, NAND Access, USB 2.0
IOS250[57] (rev 65535, Info: d2x-v10beta52): Trucha Bug, NAND Access, USB 2.0

IOS249[57] (rev 65535, Info: d2x-v10beta52): Trucha Bug, NAND Access, USB 2.0
IOS250[56] (rev 65535, Info: d2x-v10beta52): Trucha Bug, NAND Access, USB 2.0

like Cyan already suggested.
You can use again the d2xcIOS Installer that you used here: https://wii.guide/cios

You said, your ISO´s and Games are ok.Are your games PAL or NTSC Versions ?
Did you compared the Checksums from your Games with https://www.gametdb.com/Wii/Search ?
(Please search for the Game(s) and on each Site you have the Checksums at the Bottom.)

Of Course also a logic Point.

Which HDD did you have please ? Maybe there is a Tool for it on the Manufacturer´s Hompepage or universal Tools to disable the Sleep Value. For Example for Western Digitald HDDs WDIdleDisable Tool.

Thank you.:)

- instead Base 57 on Slot 250 you should use Base 56

Simply opposed.:)

can it brick my console?

If you followed the Guide you have installed Priiloader and/or BootMii as boot2/as IOS.
So you should have a little Protection.:)

Good Luck
Thank you.:)

Maybe, but this Setup is the most common and recommended for the USBLoader GX.
Base 57 has better Game compatibility but of course, there are some Games that use/run on other cIOSes....

No,we can give you no Warranty, that you have no Crashes after the Change, but the Chance is maybe good to get rid of it.:D
We also have to trust your Games/ISO´s are ok and good.:)

(if i will do this i will do a NAND backup before that, just in case

Very,very prospective from you.:yay:
Yes please.
I hope you also did it before you installed the cIOSes (like the Guide recommended).:D

Thank you.:)

Ohhh ok, so if games are not working on IOS 249 i just change it to 251?

Yes,it is worth a try.:)
-249
-250
-251

One of them should always work (except some Games how I wanted to convey to you with my List.:)).

But for the "Mainstream" Games like Mario Kart Wii,Super Mario Galaxy,Super Smash Bros. Brawl,New Super Mario Bros.,Mario Party and so on,it is not necessary,USBLoader GX loads them with the correct Setting.

Thank you.:)

Yes of course.:D
From "Experiences" I can tell you it is not the badest Idea you have all three Loaders:

- USBLoader GX
- Configurable USBLoader - it maybe helps on some Games when the USBLoader GX can not detect the needed IOS to run the Game.It shows the IOS Number when you start a Game and then you can change it in USBLoder GX.:D
Please use the v70 r78.11 Mod.
- WiiFlow Lite Mod from @fledge68 is an excellent Alternative and can also run Wii Games from SD Card (but not really recommended !!).Please use the latest Version v5.4.2

Thank you.:)
