Holy crap.. Page 38. I was thinking of implementing the force pals and force ntsc's... or no use for that anymore?

some people said that it help with some PAL games, I do not think would hurt.

No... i just saw WiiShizza did it on another thread.

Just a quick thought guys,

How hard would it be to add a simple lock/unlock selector feature to the Loader for each game, so that we can keep it in the spirit of kid-friendly? Say, "Press 1-1-1 to lock, 2-1-2-1 to unlock" or a simple 4-digit numerical passcode feature? I wouldn't want my four year old daughter accidentally selecting "Madworld" when she meant to select "Major Minor's Majestic March".

Here's my Zelda themed background, designed for Sorg's modified loader with cover art...

Hope you guys like it! =)

Ok, haven't really paid that much attention to this thread as my drive has been dead for a few days...

So, I got all the files needed, but not sure where to put them all... am planning on making a channel for this, so I have 2 questions...

the image files go in

SD:\apps\USBLGv1\images
or
SD:\images
or
SD:\USBLGv1\images

can this be put in a channel and still access the image files?

Kosaic... First of all, I want to thank you, for all your hard work... It is REALLY appreciated.

I know you've released your list of 400, but since your "the king of covers", what is the TOTAL number of Wii titles released? How many more do you have to go??

Thanks! =)

Earlier in this thread someone said there were 504 NTSC-U releases

After Kosaic updates the pack with the new Game IDs on the previous page, my count says ~75 more to go.

Omg! 3 pages earlier! I come back 10 mins later and it gained 35!

Has anyone made a Wad yet? I tried one but it crashed as soon as I started it...

I wont know until tomorrow .... But I believe I will be at about, well, 500 give or take after tomorrow. I have 425 now, plus everything on the last page to verify.

I will troll the last number of pages here as well, and make sure I fix all items. The manual nature of this effort leaves room for error. Everyone hang in there with me.

Was the "noimage.png" feature added in nIxx's loader?
I placed the "noimage.png" file with the rest of the pics, but it doesn't work. (if so, does it have to be named different?)

I just made a WAD, and i'm transfering everything over to my SD card now (FTPii, since I have no SD card reader)...

CodeDumped...

Guess it needs to be run as a DOL...

Unless someone who's good at coding can make it work with in a WAD...

Tell me where the source code is and I will try to make it work.

I don't recall anyone making you the dictator of this thread and your frankly comming across as quite rude this thread does not have any official rules which anyone is obligated to follow you can ask people nicely not to ask the same questions over and over again but you really don't have any authority to do anything about it if they don't

I officially nominate tripellex as dictator of this thread!

I second it !

The Aye's have it. Where's the emoticon to give someone the finger?

After you get 2 nominations then the voting starts

But really people are going to come here and post without even reading your posts about the "thread rules" and there's really nothing you can do about it

Just a suggestion, I just noticed that the PAL Cover set is exactly the same as the NTSC cover set (only diference is on the file name (the region char)), wouldnt be easier to just strip the region character from the file and from the code?

Example:
Mario Kart Wii - RMCE01 (NTSC) - RMCP01 (PAL), the file would be RMC01.png

As I said, Just a suggestion.. It would be pretty easy to change that on the code and on the files as well

Keep the good work! You guys are doing an amazing job so far!

EDIT: there was a ")" missing, that was VERY anal. lol

first page of the thread for the Source Code...
But which loader do you want to pack into a wad?

non kid version... want to rip games from the Wii to the HD... if you could

or make one of the kid and one of the adult... just for shits and giggles... might be more than me wanting WADs...

To OP:

The "Kids version" linked to on the main page appears to still include the background graphic with "install/remove" game. I'm not sure if the buttons actually work or if the code was commented out. Could you post a link to a different background and/or recompile without those options?

Thanks.

I believe there are some games that are different between regions... (Ex - "MiniCopter: Adventure Flight" I believe is called "Radio Helicopter" for PAL and has a slightly different cover)
