Hacking USBLoader with Game Images

I thought I'd mention "Tatsunoko vs. Capcom" 'RF7J' is currently missing from all the picture pack downloads.

okay i saw that there are some peoples with problem

and some other explained it already
but to clear some things i hard coded the image path to sdcard:/images/ for example
sdcard:/images/bg.png
sdcard:/images/RUPP01.png and so on.
Not sdcard:/apps/usbloader/bg.png

About colored text i can only say that it doesn´t look good
anyway if someone wants to add it

Mine is the following and works

sd root>apps>usbloader>images

the same here!

Could you please integrate fishears's new version usb loader with ocarina, video force and lang. select into your previous work to make you delux version? Thanks.

Make one without out force video mode and language first though for those who have all they need and don't want a cluttered GUI

nothing shows up for me for the following games:

Monster 4x4 World Circuit
Dora Saves the Snow Princess
Spongebob Squarepants the Creature from the Krusty Krab
Pool Party

it's possible I've missed them or I accidentally have pal games. Let me know what you find

I have the covers for the other 2 , do you have Game ID's ??? I cant seem to find them, yet.

no that was part of the prob. I had a couple of the images, but none of the directories listed the ID's

I think maybe you've got it wrong. Putting the images folder in root gives a black screen. putting it in the apps/loader/ folder works.

Still, nice work mate!

Would anyone else like to see a full GUI version of this without the menu on the side but simply have the game banner and maybe some info.
It'd make for a cleaner and possibly faster loader.

From a visual aspect... Is it possible to have the loader NOT draw the black box, where the backups are displayed? AND... If so, is it possible to change the text color??

It looks like you can do remove games with this, so why does he say no game deletes?

I have tried 2 different Forwarders: Dark_mystery's "Yet another USB Loader.." and the one with a Wii Harddrive on it with no text, and both result in a Code dump when the dol is placed in the usb_loader directory. If you use other USB Loader dols, everything works just fine. Seems like an incompatibility between Nixx's loader and the dol forwarders...

Just to note: I did manage to run the loader in the HBC, but also realized that the "images" directory in the root of the SD card doesn't work. I needed to put the directory in the same directory as the dol.

Has anyone successfully made Nixx loader channel they want to share - either forwarder or otherwise? Thanks.

sure, text color and console background can be changed.
I have altered Nixx source. Now it's white with black text.
also i set 12 Titles not 21. So I could shrink the console a bit.

There are no game deletes in my original version. There are game deletes in nIxx's version. If you don't want game deletes in nIxx's version then grab the source and comment out the 1 line of code. If a child-proof version isn't made by the time I get home, I'll make one and post it.

Right-click, Save As...
Remeber to rename rf7j08.png to RF7J08.png (Imageshack made the file lowercase)
