Hi
Back again
No guarantees with this one (other than that it will not brick you).
I can't test it thoroughly because I'm PAL and I have no out of region titles.
What I really need is an NTSC user who was getting black and white when launching PAL games. Please would you press 1 to launch your PAL game and post your result here.
Thanks

PS please don't comment on the GUI - I already know it is terrible but that's not my job.

EDIT1:Just made a small change for component cable support - come on you testers - get those hands a little dirty

EDIT2: Now updated to a slightly less lame GUI (but only slightly)

EDIT3: FINAL Source package now uploaded

EDIT4: New version up for testing includes Language Patching - use Left/Right to select language before launching a game

No

did you test the first download or the version that's just been updated?
I tested the version that's just been updated

i used your dol on my pal 3.4e wii with the game TATSUNOKO vs CAPCOM and works with A force disk video mode and 2 force ntsc
option 1 does not work for me.

why i tested it was because in the other loaders i couldn't get this game to work.

thank you Fishears for this

EDIT: Omg... IT WORKS!!!!!!!! Best App EVER!!! You Rock!

But is there anyway you can make the text on the left get bigger? I can't even read it.

I'm putting this into a channel. Thanks for everything!

Hmm.. I think I said to press the wrong button didn't I. For PAL games on NTSC Wii you want to Force NTSC... Duh!

@ WiiShizzza - glad you're here, I was meaning to talk to you about the possibility of you making a decent background for this, with the button icons and everything looking... well... SHIZZZA! Assuming this testing goes well, that is.

I need as many people as possible to test their video mode issues with this - try all three buttons to launch and see what you get please...

How about combining you work with the "USBLoader with Game Images" project ?

Well, as soon as I get confirmation that this is working as planned then I'll post my source to the community like I did with the Ocarina mod. From there anyone can do what they like with it. I'll gladly talk to other people about what I've done if they want to make an All-in-one loader.

On my NTSC Wii:
A - Colors are fine with NTSC games. Black and white on PAL games
1 - Black and white on all games
2 - Colors are fine with both NTSC and PAL games

Seems to be working fine

What do you mean all 3 buttons? What are the other 2? I can't read what it said in that box up there...

Sorry about the lame-ass GUI

You have three options to launch a game:

A = use the game's video mode
1 = force PAL
2 = force NTSC

I have a PAL wii, can I use this usb loader like the original?

Yes. If you launch games by pressing A then it's exactly the same as the original (with Ocarina). Just press 1 or 2 if you're having video mode issues with out of region games.
