Hacking USB Loader... my turn ;)

I'm having a weird problem with v6. Everything works except the covers. It's a tad confusing. I think I have all the options enabled

I'm very new to using this loader, just trying it out now.
Whilst the original post has been very informative I would like some more instructions added there, I cannot get image loading figured out.
On the front page it says to (optionally) add the "title.txt, config.txt and Images-Folder in /apps/usbloader/" So I assume that is location they will be looked for if the config is left as default?
Also I do not know how to name the files or the exact purpose of the title.txt file.

I'm sure this has been mentioned a few times already but there seem to be no clear instructions either with the downloaded files or on the first post of this thread with the other instructions.
I would personally appreciate it if this information was more accessible to a newb like myself.
If I have missed the big text file of instructions then I apologise and would appreciate it if someone could point it out.

in regard to the 2 titles that disappeared i fixed it!

all i did was add a game (champ foosball) and i can see warioware and kof again! weird!? huh

Why "sd:/apps/usbloader" is the default folder for config.txt?
I can't have two versions.
example:

- normal in "full utltimate" launched with the homebrew channel.
and
- child1 in "usbloader" launched with the Forwarder.


why not the folder where it finds the .dol

I did per-game save settings in a config file instead on wbfs, maybe you can find this useful?
I hate to touch wbfs be it for renaming or saving settings...

Changes:
- Added per-game saved settings (video, language, ocarina)
Per-game settings can be saved/forgotten in the start game screen with button 2.
The settings are saved to sd:/usb-loader/settings.cfg

I dont think I understand this? Isn't 2 already mapped to toggle Ocarina, or is this only AFTER you select a game?

Right. I will improve this in next release.

About the save setting bug, you can simply fix it by changing to some other settings (that you didn't set before) and then set it back. The bug is only there for old users.

I fixed my problem by removing the initial /

images_path=SD:images/

Kinda odd.... but it works now

there is a config to place in your root that WILL PICK UP YOUR COVERS

Actually those capitalization issues came from the original source PSD from page 1. Guess I didn't think much of it to correct it in mine. Whoops lol. Well at any rate, the source PSDs are there, so feel free to edit the text as you see fit

Can you check what font is used for those text? I only have GIMP and it can't use Photoshop's text layers

I don't get how you configure this. Where do I put the config file and how do I start it? I just want Boxart and Oricana to work. Other features I don't really care

I am so happy, I couldn't thank all those involved enough. I just updated to rev10, used the V6 Final 1.4, and made it Child1 like I had before. WiiShizza, thanks for the .psd, since I needed to modify it for my custom background. The thoughtfulness, the hard work, and teamwork in this thread are amazing. My loader is near perfect now, and the download image feature works amazing.

Yes. It's already in 6.0

I forgot fix a long title name bug in 6.5 so I deleted it. I will upload 6.6 soon
