Nope........IOS249 games won't work with USB Loader anytime soon......

Once a game is loaded using the USB it is locked to IOS249 already and any game that tries to load a different IOS (MOH: H2, Metroid 1, MK:A and so on) even if it changes to IOS249 freezes up.

I have no doubt it'll get fixed, i'm just not sure it's easy at all

you should try the apps "code downloader" and "cheat manager" to get the right codes.
You'll find the apps in the HomeBrew Browser.

You'll also need the following folders on the root of your SD:

\txtcodes
and
\codes

what should be the filename i put inside \codes?

Could somebody please help me out with Ocarina usage on the ULTIMATE LOADER (1st page). I've followed all the tutorials, so I used codemanager to create an NTSC WarioWare:SM from a text downloaded at usbgecko.com. I exported the .gct and named it rode01, then placed it in a folder "codes" at the root of my sd. When I toggle Ocarina on and boot WarioWare, it says "codes found/loaded from sd." The code is for unlimited lives, but after a quick play, they obviously aren't working. Am I doing something wrong? (I've already tried caps/lower case on the .gct file, ie. RODE01)

Thanks for any help.

Why did you rename the .gct? I have only used Ocarina a few times....but I am pretty sure you shouldn't alter the default name.

edit

And if you didnt know, code downloader will download a txt file from a server, and the manager app will then convert to .gct.....no need for you to fool around with the files this way.

Would it be possible to just implement the new SD features into your old 1.1 source.

and also the new Video method you did.

If you could do that, i would advise it as there are more errors in Waninkoko's 1.2 then ever before

P.s What game did you want to test codes on ill get you some codes for the version.

Example...... Mario galaxy NTSC

@dsfanatic5 -

you did it right if it said codes were found.
maybe bad codes.........

the code downloader downloades specified codes to the txtcodes folder.
and then the cheat manager let's you enable the different codes for the game and also saves the proper file under \codes.

It did here anyways . I just checked anytitle deleter and IOS 250 had turned up . It says in readme that it uses 249 , but maybe it uses 250 as a backup slot or something in case 249 is blocked by nintendo .. Dunno . just speculating

I smell Waninkoko using IOS250 so that IOS249 patched games work..........just a guess

I am looking at the USB loading error.

I will then look at ocarina

Is there any problem with video mode?

No video modes are great........ Patch Game works a treat on my console for the ones that didnt before.

Also what codes you want, i'll grab em for ya so you can test

not to sound like a broken record here, but does anyone even have a clue how to do this image reload fix? i feel like im gettin to be a nag with this, and havent really heard much from anyone here, has no one figured it out? i just cant figure out why it works to load the images in brismas loader, but not any of these. i dont want to keep naggin about it tho, just wonderin if anyone has a good idea as to how to add this to work.

Agree.

@ Hungyip85

Would you please first spend a little time to incorporate the new video method to your old ultimate 1.1 to make it more "ultimate" ?

I guess many of us would prefer getting this stable version first. Thanks !

Thank you so much, you have no idea. I have been following the progress of this thread, and I am so grateful for all the hard work you guys have done. The final ULTIMATE VERSION is perfect for me. Your Ocarina advice worked flawlessly, and saved me a lot of trouble. I'm also thankful for the child version you included with the final release, because I wanted to give my brother the best loader possible, without having to worry about him messing things up. Your contributions are very appreciated

I will update the video patch on 1.1 loader after I am done with 1.2.

I think 1.2 initialize my hard drive slower than 1.1 did, and I don't need to boot game in 1.2. I like 1.1 more =)

Hunyip85 -

that new version just skipps to FORMAT DRIVE if no drive is found.

Ofcourse tho im only testing by unplugging my hdd and then selecting USB Device then plugging it in.
