Has anyone had any luck with this yet? I formatted my HDD using Waninkoko's USB loader app on the Wii. I dumped a game, made sure it worked (it did) and then decided I would dump some ISO's directly from my computer to the HDD to save time. I'm running ubuntu (the 9.04 Jaunty Beta). I tried hooking my HDD to my laptop and it doesn't recognize it at all. It doesn't pop up or do anything really. Has anyone had any luck with this? Also, once connected to my computer is it as easy as dragging and dropping ISO's onto the HDD?

No, the drive won't "pop-up" on your desktop as a device, but you can still access it from the devices folder. It's not a drag-drop operation. You need to read the wbfs readme. It has all of the commands you'll need to use.
