the beta of neek2o with vWii support are not publicly released nor officially supported.
providing links to these versions is not a good idea.
Do you recommend any other cios?
Usually, VC or Wiiware with issues using d2x v8+ are fixed by using rev17 (base38) or rev19 base 38 or 57.
if it's a game using USB port (microphone for example), base 58 could be required.
if you just want to play it (and not help with the compat list), you can use Neek2o feature.
I don't remember who said "some game require their own NAND region", but I'll answer here too.
after doing a NAND dump, launch neek without autoboot to go to its system menu, then press 2 on wiimote to go to hidden settings and enable region free.
it will help with a lot of channel compatibility.
But there might be channels which really require a correct region (region free patch is not enough).
on Wii, it's easy to create a NAND for a specific region using modmii NAND creation.
on vWii, it's not possible yet?
Cyan, I have a weird behaviour to report:
That's really strange, indeed.
Now I know it has something to do with the drive itself (either the cache, or the emuNAND dump (but it's not mounting and parsing the NAND, it's getting a list of folders using the internal SD/USB file explorer so speed the load time).
The cached banners should speed the loading up, not slow it down...
Too bad you couldn't reproduce the slow loading time

I don't like when it fixes itself like this.
EDIT:
No, it works flawlessly!!!
But I like when it fixed itself like this !
