It honestly does sound like your ISO is messed up or if you're trying to use alt. dol files those are corrupted. Someone said before you need to use alt dol files for metroid so if you aren't already using them try finding them and loading those through GX and see if that helps. I'd also suggest trying uLoader as a pre-launcher type of thing. Use it to load games you can't normally load then once you've got some save data created with that go back and load the games through GX (might help with metroid, if you can get in-game w/ 2 or 3 you should be fine to run through GX afterword).

and how exactly do i get that

you download the installers. the instructions and even links are here just search and if nothing else google. as for GX default settings click the gears then find the "default settings" option and click it, it'll ask you if you're sure click yes then youre set.

That's really weird...most people have the problem reversed!

Is there any issue with themes in USBloader GX? I installed a couple of themes from within the loader, but wanted to return to the default theme. I reset everything to the default settings from within the loader and all appeared to be OK. My daughter played Wii Fit+ this afternoon and when going back to the Wii Menu using the Home key, the screen displayed a message "system files are corrupted or missing".

I put in another SD card and had the same issue. I then booted through Bootmii to the homebrew channel, booted wii fit+ through USB Loader exited via the home button and got the same issue. I restored the CFG files for USB Loader from a copy I made to the PC before installing the USB Loader themes, deleted the Themes folder in the Config folder on the SD card then booted directly to Wii system menu and did the same procedure and all is OK.

Anybody else had issues with themes in USB Loader GX?

USB Loader GX detects Metroid Prime Trilogy and presents a menu where you can choose between MP1, MP2, MP3 and Default. You don't need to worry about alt. dol files, the loader does it for you this way.

@TudorBlue: If you are using Hermes cIOS r4 and USB Loader GX > 930 then you need to insert a dvd in the drive, doesn't matter which. How big is your ISO ? It might be corupt like you suggest.

Do i need an SD card to do this or can i use my USB?

so just search for the stuff you sent me,download, install them, and click default settings in USB loader ?

As long as you can use your USB in HBC you can stick with it but an SD card wouldnt hurt. Once everything is installed and configured you should be set but remember to install hermes with the base of merged IOS 37+38. You may want to change your paths once you reset the settings if you have things like cover/disc art but that isn't hard to do.

Hello,

I have had to change my WII motheboard and so rehack the new one.
This now done and I have CIOS 249 rev 19 + HERMES V5, a FAT32 HD and .wbfs games.

But

I'm not able to launch NSMB(I got a black screen with a few green lines) from USB LOADER GX (last beta which is I think 937) while it is ok from CONFIGURABLE USB LOADER.

Please not that before the change of motherboard it was ok (249 rev 17 + HERMES V4 or V5)

Any Idea or special settings to do ?

Thanks

Regards

Olivier

What did you use as base when you installed hermes, try reformatting to WBFS in manager and also that's not step by step that's an overview.

still didnt work

You're not answering questions that I ask you. Please answer all questions asked, it helps. What did you use as a base for installing hermes?
