I'm trying to use LGX to copy my retail games to my USB stick. I've tried twice now using Wii Sports and the first time it got to 50% and the second 80% - both times the I've had to turn the Wii off to get out of it. Any ideas? I'm using 773c.

The disc could be scratched or dirty. If it is try cleaning it and then copying it again.

On the third time it worked. But trying to get other games on there randomly works or it doesn't. Discs are immaculate!

Try using Waninkoko 1.5 found here http://wiki.gbatemp.net/wiki/index.php?tit...Loader_Releases when that don't work. try formating the usb stick to fat, fat32 again. When that don't work use another usb stick of another type. If it still will not work let us know and I will see what else I can come up with. I hope this helps.

I finally managed to play GH5 through loader USBLoader GX.

Installed hermes 222 and 223
Global settings:
222
002fix: anti
video: autopath

Very import last step:
In the game settings of GH5:
block IOS reload

This last step did the trick for me!

I have a problem with downloading images.
The images for the covers always work, no problems.
The images for the spinning dvd are never found anymore.

Do other persons have this problem?

for some reason no more heroes and okami wont work on my wii
as well as monster hunter 3

though..I know I gotta change settings for MH3 to work, but I'm not entirely sure what and where

I know this might have already been answered but, I currently have cios 249 rev 14 installed, can I play Metoroid prime 3, the trilogy edition, through this loader. I have tried many times using the ios from the MH3 disk etc etc, games 1 and 2 work but the 3rd is a black screen, thanks for any help.

You have a bad scrubbed version which messes up MP3 your going to have to download it again and I know becuase I had to download about 3 different ones to find one that worked.

I can assure you it is not a scrubbed version that I have got, as I borrowed the game directly from a friends and copied it to the hard drive using the loader myself. If you managed to get MP3 to work, could you possibly go into detail how. I have read many other threads regarding my issue, and it seems the CIOS 249 rev 14 cannot play dual layer disk games, is this true?, if this is true then I have tried to downgrade to CIOS 249 rev 10, as I know this version has dual layer capabilities, however this version would still not allow me to play MP3, but MP1 & MP2 play fine. Thanks again for any help.

The only thing I can think of is try using Configurable loader or wiiflow with hermes cios 222 or 249 rev 13 since that's what I use to load mine since that's the only game that won't work for me on GX.

MP3 should play fine, if your getting the "Please Insert Disk Error" just put any in, other than that i dont think it needs any setting changed apart from Alt-dol

The broken dual layer support in cIOS 249 rev 14 not only affects playing a dual layer game with that cIOS, it also effects ripping a game with that cIOS set as your global Boot/Standard. You need to delete and re-install the game with a different global boot set.

When changing your global Boot/Standard, you must start the loader, make the change, then exit back to the system menu and restart the loader in order for the change to take effect.

OK, tried Waninkoko 1.5 and that won't even read my 16gb USB stick - it times out and crashes after 30 seconds. So, I got another stick (4gb) formatted as fat32 and it crashed GX straight away (screen just had lots of corruption on it). Formatted it with WBFS Manager 2.5 and tried that. Waninkoko 1.5 and GX see it but won't even start copying to it! I'm lost as to what is going on now :-(

if it says they aren't on the server, that might be a good indication that they aren't on the server. you can help out by buying a game and scanning it and uploading it to wiitdb.com.

Oke I thought it had something to do with a bug, because the covers are being downloaded.
I think I can check the wiitdb.com site myself rihgt so chech if the images are available?

the last two or three updates all load to a black screen meaning I can only load my games from an old previous version none of the new updates loads correctly
have I to delete some settings or something ?

delete gxglobal.cfg and gxgamesettings.cfg from your "config" folder on the root of your SD/USB and try loading again.

In the settings there is an option to download Original disk images or Customs or Both. Select Both. You'll get something at least more than the default image for the spinning disk for more games. Many games don't have Official/Original disk images.

Yup I have a similar problem - currently on ver 620 so not sure if that is an issue.
Yesterday I had 8 missing disc images (all the 3d covers were available and downloaded). When I went to wiitdb to check and manually download onto my sd card, 6 of the 8 disc images were available - not certain why they were not downloaded but some of them had more than one disc image to choose from and I suspect that is where the problem lies.
