I have already informed at the news of http://usbloadergx.koureio.net/ and our forum, but just in case that you don't check that places

IMPORTANT

Since r749 and on, USB Loader GX has been updated for better support of cIOS 222/223 rev4. Unfortunately that dropped the compatibility with the previous versions of cIOS 222/223. You can find rev4 at the above site, at downloads page

By the way for two days the new revs probably won't make it to the server for auto update.

Later, marinos35|koureio35

PS: If I find the time I may update the newest revs to the site though

EDIT
r762 dol/elf at the site

How must the cIOS 222 and cIOS 223 been installed I mean the merge settings. I have a lot of option to choose when I want to install the cIOS 222 and 223.
And what are the best global settiongs to set?

Thanx!

Can someone tell me the merge settings please?

IOS 222 > IOS 38 merged with 37
Thanx installing right now.
After I need to install cIOS 223 right, same settings?
You can install 223 if you want
I'd use IOS38 only (else it would be the same as 222)

Or 202 (60 merged 38), used by some homebrew that need USB 2.0

But 202 and 223 are optional

Thanx everything is running fine. Many many thanx!

I have one problem. GH5 is not running. The game is running from DVD disc (wiikey 1 installed). But I was never succeeded in running GH5 from HD unforunately. I someone has a clue....

slingshot: solution for me was found in the multi-page GH5 thread (search back a few pages in index list, this subforum)

solution was....

Hermes cIOS 222/223 rev3 (NOT rev4)
install 222 as 38 merged with 37
install 223 as 38 merged with 60

then change global settings in usbloader gx so that "game load" uses ios222; any games that need 249, set them in individual game settings (rather than global, something about a config problem, do it this way as opposed to global 249, game 222)
Anti002 Fix in usbloadergx is set to On
game launches

**however**
Game stutters for me! when there's too many notes on screen the game gets stuck on the music for a second, gets totally desynched, and stays that way until the end of the song. Had this issue on Smash Hits also.

Solution?
Play from disc. No lag/stuttering, even on the 3X read (no chip in this wii)

soooo..... you *CAN* get it working, but you may be better off just loading from disc if you've got no problems that way.

good luck

I just installed the new homebrew channel 1.5 and the exit to hbc is now not working. The new hbc channel is JODI and not HAXX.

I got it working on normal speed from USB.
Using:
- Latest USB loader GX (rev 763+)
- Hermes cIOS 223 rev4 (IOS 38 merged with 37)

Settings:
Use cIOS: 223
Block IOS reloading: ON
Error 002 fix: ON

All other settings on default. Working on PAL Wii with PAL GH5.

DarkMystery: Thanks for the input. I may try your method in the next day or so

RoyUSMC: That should be a simple fix; wait a day or three for a new revision.
