Plus its not hard lol

i don't mind posting any link as far it has the koureio format. But whatever link you use the hits are counted

because the code is at the sidebar.

PS: Not to forget: USB Loader GX didn't recognize the drive anymore when started. I had to reconnect the drive within the 30 seconds countdown.
i'm having a similar issue that just popped up in the last few builds.

firmware - 4.1 via waninkoko
gx build - 700
ios38 - rev 14
hd - 500 gb seagate free agent

prior to rev 14 i would have to unplug/replug the drive if ever i power cycled the wii, yet rev 14 seemingly fixed this behavior, and then the last few builds of gx have begun complaining about waiting for my slow drive.

anyone else in this boat?

Also from rev643 I'm not able to see the complete and correct name from games anymore. This means I see the game The Blob like Blob07 and Wii Sport like another title....
how to solve this? Now I'm on rev706

You have to turn on "Titles from XML" on Gui Settings.

Did this already, but nothing is changing. I have wiidbt.zip and XML and titles.txt in config folder...

How can I uninstall Hermes Cios222, simply delete the CIOS 222 with anytitledeleter?

GX stopped supporting titles.txt a while ago. The most reliable way to change titles is manually.

You don't need to uninstall cIOS 222. Just reinstall as 37 merge 36 right over the top of it and use network installation if possible. I've always had issues with WAD installations. And make sure you are using the most up to date hermes installer. you can find cIOS 222 rev 3 at the download page of the GX link in my sig.

ok, thanks for this anwer. But I only have wired internet, no wireless. Is there anyway a possibility to update by WAD? Which IOS version to choose? Version 249?
Hermes installing is much more difficult to install than wanin versions.....
And I understand there is no option to change the titles from games besided changing them manually?

I updated the download page at my site: I reorganized some stuff and added channel 688 which was the latest official compile (I don't mess with wads for now)

In my Usbloader I only got 2D covers of my games :/
How can I turn them into 3D?

Thx man for this AWSOME loader!

If it makes you feel better, pretend it's 4.0.

What's in a name? That which we call a rev937
By any other name would work as well.

Question: Previously I had all my disc image are working. After updating serveral revs ago I've no longer been able to get all the disc art to display. Box art work fine though. I have the most current rev, and I'm on rev 14 of CIOS. I've tried formatting my SD and starting from scratch and can't seem to get all the disc art to work. Only about 1/3 of the disc art will show up. I've checked the ID of the disc art to make sure it matches and it's all legit. Also the size of the png is stock, so that's not the problem.

Any recommendations or others with the same problem?

Did you use the new disc art setting? Until a few revisions ago GX didn't download any custom disc, now you can pick original, custom or both.

Worked well. Guess I missed it in the changelog. thx

I read through quite a few pages of the thread and couldn't find anything concrete on this, so I thought I would post about an experiment of mine.
I was curious, with usbloadergx's ability to load wii channels in newer releases, whether or not the VC/WW loading from USB might work with cios14 and usbloadergx.
I installed a series of wads to my SD card and then copied that folder to my USB drive.
I then booted usbloader with no SD card in the sd slot, chose the homebrew tab and then clicked the wii/channel button.
Surprisingly, it brought up a list of all of the channels both on the wii system memory (such as several forwarder channels) and the channels on the usb drive (Neo Geo injects and some legitimately purchased VC titles) .
The only problem was that when I selected a channel from the USB drive, the screen would turn black and the hard drive would spin up trying to read the channel over and over, but in the end it would just lock up the system.

I was just kind of wondering if anyone else has had any luck getting channels loading from USB in usbloadergx? Or if anyone has even bothered trying.

Anyone know if downloading the wiitdb.zip will ever be added to this loader again? I know you can hit the button and then open the text file, then download the file from the link but thats a pain. It was so much better when it could be downloaded straight to the wii.

Why did the change it anyways? if the loader can generate a url and stick it in a txt file it can obviously download directly really easily since it knows where to get it.
just wondering.

When updating your GX version with "update all" the Wiitdb.zip is also downloaded and updated automatically (as well as the language files).

I get a code dump btw when reaching the "update language files" status with the latest GX version (and Wanin rev14).

Are you sure?? Cuz that what GX USED to do. They they disabled the update and changed it so you had to press 2, then it would create an URL, then download the file etc ect.
Did they change it back or somethin?

As far as I know this is still how it works but I haven't try this in a while

I think it had to do with fear of bandwidth abuse

I'm just wondering whether it'd be worth creating another thread, with proper reporting procedure and template (Google code site can be confusing), users can use the template to report issues.

What should be in the template you think? Something like:

Problem:
GX Rev Problem Occurs:
cIOS Rev:
Wii Region:
Menu Ver:
Preloader Installed?
More Then One Partition?
SD or SDHC Card?
GX on SD or USB?

We could monitor the thread and try and see links between problems, keep track better of the numbers and scale of the problems. What do you think?

I like your idea of creating a separate thread and using a template to report bugs. In fact, I also proposed a template (around post #8700 or so).

Only thing I'd add to your template isa "steps to reproduce the problem" section because it's nearly impossible to fix a bug that you can't reproduce.

I think it's about time to bump this up from v1.0 dontcha think? It's almost at 1,000 revs, and a new stable release is overdue.Stable release? Maybe when they would stop adding new features and only fix bugs, but at the moment they simply can't release a stable because there is none.

Not possible, not implemented, wait for Waninkoko.

hello

I find a small probleme with the file french.lang.( I try with different rev)

When you go to "parental control" the first line is not full. we must have " Clic pour déverrouiller" but I have only "Clic pour dé "

for "Unlocked" , it's ok , I have : "Clic pour verrouiller"

thk

Not like this loader needs it but I have seen that mplayer-ce is now starting to add ntsf support. So for what it is worth the web site is here http://code.google.com/p/mplayer-ce/updates/list Maybe someone will want to add this once it is done. Thanks again.
PS I have made changes to genpunes grid that when it is in the 3 row view all the boxart is all lined up in the row to make it easyer to see. If someone would like this file to add to there compile please let me know. I tryed to get genpunes grid and mine to go together but failed. I know not everyone is going to like the way I setup the rows, So This is just something to thank about till the banner support comes along. The new grid view would give you 3 rows of 10 in widescreen and 3 rows of 9 in 3/4. Sorry if this makes anyone mad I just want to help the ones with smaller tv's.

Yeah it was. I uploaded it some hours ago but you replaced mine with yours.

Why? :_(

I also had changed the previous rev and put your link as the mirror to give you a hint where you could place your files, if you wanted to, for r707.

Actually I find more fit the mirror for your releases as it is one link for both dol and elf. You don't have to change the old revs but try to follow the r707 (after I will edit it now) as a template
wink.gif

EDIT: Also you could change the "USB Loader GX Revision 707" to "dol/elf by Logan (@ 4shared)" as everything there is of course revisions of usbloadergx and the number is visible at the left side of the same line
wink.gif
Of course if you want to.

I just wanted to keep it all uniformed (the same) but you're the boss!

Also I thought you had issues compiling and uploading, which is why I'd been putting my links as the main links (not the mirrors). If you want mine to be the mirrors, that's fine. I assume you'll be compiling and uploading the main URL's?

Either way, its no big deal to me really. Most users here I think, probably just have the USB Loader GX folder on my 4shared account bookmarked and watch that for new uploads.

If you've got your compiling and uploading sorted again, I'll stop updating the Revisions page and leave it to you mate. I don't mind doing it, but I admit, it is time consuming

EDIT: Just saw your edit

I'll leave the revisions page to you mate. I'll just carry on uploading to my 4shared account
