I'm sorry guys, but it looks like my question (page 313) has remained unanswered, so I'll ask again :

Hi everybody,

Forgive me if this has been asked before (313 pages !!), but :

Will the USB Loader GX support multiple WBFS partitions on the same HD ?

I don't see it on the list of planned features, but I think it would be a great add-on. For example, let's assume that I've got a big HD and I have a small WBFS partition, the rest of the disk being FAT or NTFS for conventional data storage. If the small WBFS partition got full eventually, then I'd like to be able to create another WBFS partition which would be automatically recognized by the USB Loader GX.

Would that be feasible ?

Thanks in advance for your reply.

I have 2 partitions on my 250GB NDAS drive and both are working and have been for about the last month or so. 1 FAT32 for Movies (mplayer_ce) and 1 WBFS for Wii Game Backups.

Thank you so much for answering this, I just asked this in another thread.

Woot -runs away to go repartition his HDD-
Wow. It looks like SG2009 didn't read and/or understand WiiFanAix's entire post, and you didn't read and/or understand his reply. He didn't say he has two working WBFS partitions, so if that's really what you were asking about, you might want to wait for an answer that actually relates to your query before running away to do anything.

I just simply seen a post that I though I would give my .02 cents on. If it helps then great if not then no harm no fowl. If my reply caused more damage ten good then my bad otherwise dont worry about it to much unless I caused a brick.

Well, that kinda sucks for WiiFanAix, but my use for it is to have one partition for Emulator ROMs and the other WBFS, so I'm fine. :]

Guys I cannot get Call Of Duty 3 to show its box art. (RCDE52.png) The image is there and visable on a PC but the loader doesnt show it.

Check to see if it the same size as the others...

I got a problem that when I put games on my WD Passport drive via WBFS manager 2.5 and 3.0, USB Loader sees them but resets back to the homebrew channel. I reformatted the drive without anything and it doesn't resets. Only when I have a game on the drive that it resets.

Check the images on your SD card, because I had a similar issue. One of the covers was corrupted and when I hit the game in the list it would reset to the home brew channel.

QUOTE(babibel @ May 26 2009, 06:39 PM) It's the RC2 found on wiiaddict.

But you can simply unzip it here http://wiicoverflow.googlecode.com/files/W...w-RC3update.zip on your sdcard and launch it with the HBC

so installation has nothing to do with this loader, so I can make a folder called "WiiCoverFlow" and unzip the contents then run it via HBC? thanks

Sorry posted in wrong topic.

new issue

1.when you get to the game loading where you see the game title and settings button for the game the game size is hanging off the edge of the dialogue_box_startgame.png
2. on the credits screen the rev text in the upper corner is way to the right now.

LOL. Sure. OK. Probably helps to explain the several hundred pages in the thread. Was just saying your reply had nothing to do with the original quesiton asked, and people should read the entire post before running off to reformat their HD expecting two WBFS partitions to work based on your reply. Then again, I guess if they base their actions on .02 cent replies, they get what they deserve.

Anyways, don't worry, because I'm not...I tend to read posts several times before taking any action.

Just thought I'd add this in since both of you used it. If you're talking cents, you just write 2 cents, not .02 cents. .02 dollars = 2 cents ;]

I mean just say it out loud it's "Two cents" not "Point zero two cents" xD

In any case, you're right, no one should go ahead and take it on faith like that, but you should also read SG2009's post fully before worrying about it, I doubt it would cause a brick anyway, so no harm really done besides someone wasting time because they didn't read fully?

So can someone from the team verify for me that I cannot change the settings menu font color? I asked about five-ten pages back and I had someone tell me that they did not think it was possible but no solid answer.

i am not on the team but been around long enough to tell you that the only way is for you to alter the source code for the color and compile it your self. these are the only ones you can change so far.

info_color = r, g, b (r, g, b is the rgb color code. This is the color of the information text, such as the hdd info)
prompttext_color = r, g, b (r, g, b is the rgb color code. This is the color of the button and prompt text)
gametext_color = r, g, b (Color for the game list text)

go here for all possible changes

probably wrong size (i guess its 160x225 but should be multiple of 4 like 160x224)

you can if you alter the source code. right now it's not "themeable".

Does this loader use a titles.txt? If so, what does it need to be named, and where should it be located?

yes it has to be named titles.txt and it it's just to rename the games via txt file. it should go in the config folder in your sd root

Well of course I knew that. I originally had changed it to "2 bit replies" but changed it back so as not to confuse the guy, and then I forgot to add the ''s to indicate I was mocking him.

At no time did I think his reply might cause someone to brick their Wii. But there's more than one reason not to offer up your 2 cents whenever the urge strikes...like when it has nothing to do with the subject at hand.

Anyways, I'm just kidding around and I'm done with this.

On another note, I get the following error when trying to resize the Guitar Hero Not Aerosmith but... custom cover to 160x224 on the site.

Warning: imagecreatefrompng() [function.imagecreatefrompng]: 'ntsc/RGVE99.png' is not a valid PNG file in /home/nstirela/public_html/theotherzone/wii/resize on line 45

The file is another mistagged JPEG, so if anyone grabbed their coverart for this game (RGVE99) from the site you should fix it. I uploaded a 160x225 .png for the game as well as the full coverart that came with the custom. Both are now in the moderation queue.
