Thanks BlindDude, I'll keep that in mind.

personally though, i do like the forwarder, its way easier to replace a boot.dol than an entire channel all the time.

Nice, I'll be waiting for the release
but take your time to create it

we really appreciate all the work

That is indeed rather impressive, I'd love to see it released to work off of these other loaders as an alternate way to view the titles. @_@;

Perhaps with USBLoader 1.5 since it seems that it plays all games with 0 problems. o.o;

yeh it has 0 problems but also 0 functions
smile.gif
all it does is launching games from a console.

btw. try to start your games right after you launched usbloader gx (without downloading covers) and dont use cIOS222 because if you use 222 its not our fault... then its cIOS222 fault ^^

awesome, I was trying to figure out what that 2nd one was, the icons get cut off at the top of my screen and i couldn't really tell. At the same time keep up the good work, I wish now I had kept up with my programing skills so I could help, but I stopped learning after qbasic. I am great at after effects, photoshop, flash, and video editing if anyone needs help with that type of stuff.

That's totally true, it sucks hard without the functions, but getting all the games to work is nice.

:S

I can't wait to see Coverflow implemented into GX though, even if all the games don't work.

our loader is using the same code as the original one to launch the games. try one time not to do anything but launching the game that doesnt work. dimok told me that if you downloaded covers before and then try to launch a game... sometimes it might not work proper.

What do the four levels of parental control mean? (0-3)
I've posted this a few times in the past days, but the thread goes by so quick, it gets burried in a few mintues.
I just really want to block out all Mature rated games. Can this be done globally?
I changed the setting fomr 0 to 3, doesn't seem to make any difference.
Is there a place where game ratings are defined?

This response made my day for sure. Can`t wait...

I guess with the implementation of Coverflow and the other awesome selecting-method you will come close to updating to GUILgx 2.0

it's not fully done yet because this party is hungyips baby

. Hes on vacation right now but he will finish it right after hes back. in general you set the game level for the game you want to rate in the game specific settings. in the global settings you can define the level which are shown then.

i just made the icons now... there is absolutely nothing done of this yet ... but yes we are going towards them.

That's pretty cool, fully user defined ratings :]

I'll try it again soon with the not downloading any covers, cause it seems that after switching to 409 now even more don't work

(Punch Out won't work either now o.o)

Trying to get Job Island (PAL, I'm on an NTSC Wii) to work, and trying to get Excitebots NTSC to work, I'll try it like you said and then just play around if that doesn't work.

QUOTE# parentalcontrol = [0] 1 2 3
# 0 => Turn off parental control
# 1 => Only allow games with 0 to show up (in titles.txt)
# 2 => Only allow games with 0 or 1 to show up (in titles.txt)
# 3 => Only allow games with 0 or 1 or 2 to show up (in titles.txt)
# Example 1: In titles.txt, RMCE = Mario Kart, you would add = 1 (RMCE = Mario Kart = 1)
# If set to 1, this game would not be shown, the game would only be shown on 2 or 3, or with parental controls off
# Example 2: In titles.txt, RZZE = Madworld (No number is needed) (Mature Rating)
# If set to 1, 2, or 3, the game would not be shown, the game would only be shown with parental controls turned off

Hopefully these two icons will help to convince them in working with you guys

But seriously: IMO this loader is perfect as it is! Especially with the latest implementation of favourites. So you guys really don`t need to rush anything

So no pressure

Thanks TJ.
So, if a game is mature rated, the loader knows already (such as Madworld)?
That would be great, so I don't have to adjust anything just to block mature rated games.

There is one bug I was getting that I'd like to bring to attention.

If I used the loaders "download covers" feature, and tried to launch a game, it would actually corrupt my drive, and said 0 games were on it, and I was forced to reformat all over again, it did this all of the 3 out of 3 times i tried it that way.

You are the first one i ever heard who had that problem ^^. It's kinda impossible to corrupt the wbfs drive when the covers are downloaded to your SD
smile.gif
. Maybe you are using that cIOS 222 or something else ... dunno... maybe the beta of rev11 of cIOS249
smile.gif
.

i've just tried to download a cover and launch a game right after the download :

didn't encounter any problem with my hdd and list of games on....
