Hacking USB Loader GX

Metriod Prime 3 asks me for a disc !! Thought it did with everyone??

Deadly creatures requires a disc for Pal Wii & Pal Game or Wii will freeze.
Metriod prime does require a disc for the NTSC version. Game starts then a messgae will ask to put in the Metriod game disc.

P.S. Any disc will do the trick - Wii, Cube, CD, DVD. Wii does not read any info on the disc just needs one inserted.

Really, coz it will only load for me with a disc in. If no disc the Wii will just reboot to system menu....Strange!

Maybe I should try another rip with this loader as I did from older dif usb loader. What Sys menu are you on?.

Let's make a auto updater in the loader...

(And also a cover / disc image downloaded)
Maybe also a theme downloader?..

Already implented. Click on the (blank) cover.

Maybe also a theme downloader?..

Requires quite some work (theme browser) etc. and it's not really that usefull.

one kool option is.....Have all the themes (their images) in one folder:

sd:\usbloaderGUI\Themes\Dark
sd:\usbloaderGUI\Themes\mario
sd:\usbloaderGUI\Themes\zelda
etc etc..

and, in the loader can change it.

About the SD image just to reload the SD ....i think its absolutly desnecessary.. one single button in the options to reload the SD or just the act of enter in options and get out to reload the SD, would be best.

I think the devs said quite a few times, that they will not implement this in alpha releases or revisions. But Cyrex stated that his would be something they thought of for a beta release! So we just have to wait for a beta of this loader and we might get our beloved autoupdate

Deleted title and did new rip with v1.5 but no joy must be a bad backup as I got rid of the original...

I did notice tho that the size before was 2.69gb and new size with v1.5 is 3.07gb. must be leaving some extra needed info in.
Ah well at least it works with a disc in. Cannot understand why this is might also be because your on 4.0 and I am 3.2 maybe?.
Might be some extra IOS? 60 perhaps. Everything else works 100% no probs apart from Mahyong NTSC version for the misses ,only works from disc channel not any USB loader.

IOS222??

Hi all, I realise this has been covered, however still unclear to me.

ISO249 works on nearly all of the games on my HDD.

there are roughly 4 games that do not work. i have seen a post which says that these games can only be used via the DVD.

Can someone explain why these need the DVD and in which circumstances i will need to use IOS222 please?

Hi sportsmaniac1322,

IOS 249. Error -128 occurs when IOS 222 is changed (on a game setting from ) 249 and game is lunched and if you change it back to 249 would go error -2. If I shut down wii and restart it IOS 222 shows under game settings and it would work. Hope this helps and thanks.
