Hacking USB Loader GX

if you give me the 2 dols labed "KIDS.dol" and "MINE.dol"...then find the pics you want size wont matter or format just need the following:

for kids.dol version need 1 Banner pic, 1 logo pic, 1 icon pic...

For "mine.dol" version need 1 Banner pic, 1 logo pic, 1 icon pic...

so get those 8 files to me and i will make you 2 custom channels with the versions you want

Both kids.dol and mine.dol would essentially be the same boot.dol but only they would be in different folders such as "SD:/apps/usbloader-kids/boot.dol" and "SD:/apps/usbloader-adults/boot.dol" for example. then the usbloader-kids one will have a titles.txt with just the games that my 4 and 5 year old daughters that can be launched from main system menu.

Thanks a ton if you can do that. I will see if I can find some good images for you to use.

Do you recomend any paticular loader? the one Im currently using is 7.4 ultimate based on (v1.5).

however I like the one I found "http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=149922" but if that one is still buggy then the ultimate v7.4 is fine.

np man i can use shizzas but i think 1.5 had a prob with dol forwarder didnt it (code dumps ect) i would use the v6 for that if you use the forwarder personally because my experience with wads and 1.5 have been less than stable

i dont reccomend that unless you want direct wads (no fowarder)

ABOUT THE BUG WITH EXCITE TRUCK IF YOU BOOT THE GAME WITHOUT THE SD CARD IN THE SLOT IT WILL LOAD

must have to do with the music maybe we need at least 1 mp3 in the root? or maybe the custom tracks feature is the bug? conflicting with the usb streaming? you should check wiipowers source again because the issue was patched in wiishizzas ultimate loader v6 and on even the MP3s play

from that build must be the bug fix is in thats source though

I have put the images onto the site - i have only put the low quality ones as they have the correct names on them and i dont have time to rename the bigger images.
Its a start and you can now see any missing disc arts

done with the transparencies.. didnt know how to take out the center circle in photoshop,,, still a noob.. but thesse are much better quality...

Other loaders have figured out the excite truck bug.. something to do with mounting the sd.. but im sure one of the coders will help on that

how did you get those first ones renamed? manually?

Yeah , the renaming has to be manual as far as im aware - i have to head to work in 10 mins so i dont have time for it.

Also in photoshop , use the magic wand to select the middle and press delete - use a default level of 32 and it should work ok
